So, I found a box of Barbies on my roadside scavenges recently. It was a surprised because they were still in the original boxes and collector editions.
I have been auctioning one at a time and they have been selling quite well.
Today, the Moroccan Barbie sold. This one took a few days and is headed to a collector in Oregon.
This doll is a little older and from 1998. Barbie had a Collector Edition of dolls from around the world. Mattel produced millions of Barbies and they continue to be collectible.
This packaging was a little dog-eared, but the doll was in great shape.
This doll netted a little less at around $10 because I charge a flat rate on shipping and it is going a long ways. Or maybe there's more expense at the holidays?
I have a few more dolls to put on the auction and the results from that one roadside box is now over $200! That's a pretty good find. And sure beats scrap metal!
So what's your best scrapping story this week? All copy and photos are my own.
