It has been almost 2 and a half years since the last time I travelled abroad. Uncertainty about the pandemic, and thus whether or not countries would close down just before I would be scheduled to fly there, or leave me stuck somewhere without being able to leave, have all been strong deterrents.
But that long wait only made it more blissfull to finally get on a plane again Thursday evening and head down to a good friend's place in Zürich for a long-weekend.
Zürich City as seen early in the morning after the sun had fully risen. I'll be looking forward to spending a few evenings in the City as well as a full day in a nearby mountain snowboarding!
Can't wait to start exploring new corners of the world again!
