Tempuh wiyang, or (Emilia javanica) is a wild plant that is often found in plantations, roadsides and other places. They live easily even though the place where they grow is poor in nutrients. The stems grow upright or lying at the base with a height of 10 cm to 120 cm.
They have almost five branched flower displays and also have beautiful flower colors. The roots and leaves also have medicinal properties such as treating infections due to wounds, boils or canker sores and several others. Usually it is processed by cooking the leaves into a vegetable with a slightly bitter spice-like taste.
