Day 2 of 365 days recommending one album per day. I can't go through the 50s without recommending something that is a no-brainer, but it doesn't hurt to recommend this album "In the Wee Small Hours" the first album by Frank Sinatra.
Surely most have heard Frank Sinatra in half of the movies, but maybe some have never listened to a whole album of his and this would be a good excuse. Also, because of the context it has, it is one of the first conceptual albums. At that time, all the singers of what would be traditional pop music, which is the American popular songbook, released singles and then what was done was a compilation of the greatest hits. If you have never heard Frank Sinatra, which I highly doubt, listen to him, if you finish listening to this album keep listening and you can continue with "Songs for Swing Lovers" and everything Frank Sinatra has.

Día 2 de 365 días recomendando un disco por día. No me puedo pasar los años 50 sin recomendar algo que hizo una obviedad ,pero no está de más recomendar este disco "In the Wee Small Hours" el primer álbum de Frank Sinatra.
Seguramente la mayoría escuchó a Frank Sinatra en la mitad de las películas, pero quizás alguno nunca escuchó un disco entero de él y este sería una buena excusa. También por el contexto que tiene es uno de los primeros discos conceptuales. En ese momento todos los cantantes de lo que sería el pop tradicional que es el cancionero popular de estados unidos, sacaban single y después lo que se hacía era un compilado de los grandes éxitos. Si nunca escucharon Frank Sinatra que lo dudo mucho, escúchenlo, si terminan de escuchar este disco sigan escuchándolo y pueden seguir con "songs for swing lovers" y todo lo que tiene Frank Sinatra. Es como el número uno del mundo.
