Board by a coffee shop.
“Love is blind” isn’t exactly what one expects to see at a coffee shop. But, in all fairness, for Valentine’s Day and other seasonal events, shops do what they can to attract customers. In celebration of the “month of love”, I guess a love phrase somehow relates.
Couldn’t help but admire the chalk work on the board. Love may be blind but this simple and creative design was a bit eye-opening and pleasing to the eye.

You might want to hear about the perfect man but let’s keep it “coffee” for a while and look at some of the Valentine offerings at some cafes.
Coffee
Coffee shop in Kobe, decorated for Valentine’s Day (period). Packets of coffee displayed various attractions of Kobe.
Valentine blend being sold at 1006 yen per 100g.

Starbucks’ Valentine special-Opera Frappuccino. According to the article below, the concept of the special is based on opera cake (layers of almond cake with coffee syrup).
Though not “adorned” for the occasion, these vegan coffee sticks were colorful and there were twelve in the pack.
It was interesting seeing coffee and other beverages “dressed up” for
the occasion.
What I’m about to share next was just as interesting.
I Met the Perfect Man
How would you describe the perfect man?
At first, I thought he didn’t exist but…I met him. I did!
One day after work, I was walking in a store and was just checking out the tea and coffee section. I was honestly a bit tired but thought I’d continue to browse a bit. It’s a good thing I did. I spotted him and soon after I did, he brought a smile to my face. He then made me chuckle and then as I got to know a little more about him, I almost laughed out loudly. He told me that he puts the hot in hot chocolate. I thought he was a bit conceited but there was something about him…
I wasn’t sure that I liked his outfit. He seemed a bit under-dressed to say the least, but he was all about “love”. I tried to resist touching him but I couldn’t. I held him for a while and he seemed to have looked me straight in the eyes. Somehow after getting close to him, I felt he wasn’t really “my cup of tea” but still there was something about him…
It wasn’t love at first sight. I guess I just wasn’t expecting to meet a guy like him at a little store.
I liked that he was unique but had to tell him “bye”. I took about two photos of him and then departed. He somehow left an impression. Who knows? Maybe I’ll meet him again. Our next encounter might be different. ”Love is blind”, they say.
Thank you for reading my post. Have a great weekend. 😃🎶
😉Check out his photos below. He’s the bomb!
”The Perfect Man” is a bar of chocolate (in the shape of a man). It has marshmallows inside and melts away in a cup of hot milk or hot beverage.
