Hello, gamers!
I took a break from Rocket League but last night I played another session of ranked 2v2 to see if I still remember how to control the car. It was not as bad as I thought and after playing for an hour or so, I won 3 games out of the five I played but that was not enough to move my division.
I started with Diamond I Div III and I am still in Div III. But at least now I am comfortable in Diamond and don't have the fear of going back to Plat.
Anyways, let's go back to the gameplay. I will share the youtube video here.
Why 2v2 only?
Well, I play all matches 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 but rarely the 4v4 chaos modes. Good that we don't have 4v4 in competitive mode. But my favourite one is 2v2. It feels like a perfect mode for the size of the arena, not too open/empty and not too crowded at the same time, just the way I like that. You can play strategically with 2v2 easily. 1v1 is not my cup of tea. Mostly because I suck at that...lol
The first game was much better than I expected. Although I was a little rusty throughout this game we still manage to by 4-2 where I scored only 1 goal and my teammate scored the rest of the goals. He carried me in this game.
The next game was tight, we initially got the lead of two goals our enemy did a great comeback and levelled the score 2-2 but then we scored the final goal and defended well. This was a bad game for me. I was missing a lot of easy shots, maybe taking long breaks was not a good idea.
Anyways, we lost the next game, it was a game to forget. We had 0-3 or something in the first two minutes and then my teammate gave up and decided to leave the match. I had no choice but to forfeit the match.
The next one was much better, It looked close until the last 10 seconds when we scored two more goals and the final scoreline was 5-3. I remember this game vividly, my teammate played brilliantly in this one. He got the MVP in this game. Somehow I was still at Diamond I div III. I was expecting to move to the next division after this win.
The next game was also a game to forget. This game had a lot of action, goals being scored frequently and both teams were over-aggressive and getting scored on counterattacks. It was 3-3 at some point and then they scored 3 goals back to back and my teammate lost hope of a comeback and he left. I had no intention to continue playing the 1v2 game so, I forfeit the match and they registered an easy win at the end.
This game made me so mad that I did not want to play more games. I stopped the recording and quit the game.
Pro Gamer Tips:
- Blame your teammate for your loss
- You didn't lose, it was laggy
- Only if I had a better monitor and graphics card.
- My little brother was playing the match.
- They were smurfing.
- I didn't sleep for two days.
- And the most important one: the Enemy team was hacking.
