In this kind of weather where it's raining or drizzling the whole day, the only place for me to go to is a shopping mall. A good that doesn't have to be expensive because even a simple walk along the corridors and atriums of a shopping mall could be fun already. Especially during holidays, there are plenty of discounted items that are on sale in the common areas of the mall.
Tonight, I visited the Causeway Point Mall in the Woodlands area. It may not be the biggest among the shopping malls but it has almost everything that I need. It's a good enough place to spend a few hours to check out the items being sold in the shops and also to dine.
It still feels like Christmas in the mall because they haven't removed all the decorations yet. I guess it will stay there until they have to change it for the Chinese New Year.
I wanted to buy something new for this year. It's a symbolic gesture to buy anything even if it's a simple t-shirt so I went to Uniqlo to buy two pieces of shirts.
I wonder why there are no t-shirts that are made from 100% cotton anymore? I'm already getting suspicious of the quality of clothes in this store 😅.
I'm not really in the mood to shop so I simply choose the type of t-shirt that I know would fit well for me. The colors that I chose are the "army" green and navy blue.
After buying a shirt, I felt hungry so I went to McDOnald's to have a double cheeseburger meal together with an Oreo McFLurry.
After eating my snack or dinner, I went for another round of walks to help burn the extra calories that I had eaten for the night. The basement is the area where they display the discounted items so I checked out if there's something that I'm interested in buying. It was crowded in some of the stalls so I didn't try to squeeze in.
There isn't anything that I need so I went up to the upper levels to have a tour.
That's it for now, I hope that the next weekend will be sunny so I can continue visiting the places that I plan for this January. See you!
