In our life there are things we can't get back, that's time. We are all given the same amount of time in a day, but why do other people use up theirs more efficiently than others? While there are other people who always say that they don't have enough time for everything they have to do.
Remember that time does not wait for you. It is constantly moving forward and it does not stop for anyone or anything. It has a fixed speed and it doesn't speed up or slow down either. If you feel like time is speeding up it's because that's your perspective. And not because time is different.
The good thing that time helps us is that it gives us a sense of the course of our lives. Because of time, we experience the past, present, and future. We develop a sense of the sequence of events in our lives. That's why there is time because we cannot go through the events of our lives at the same time.
It is better if you experience the events of your life through time. So that you have memories from the past to look back on while you experience the present and you also have something to look forward to in the future.
Life is like that, there are things that cannot be controlled so it's better to just let it flow like time. Just keep going and don't stop. We can stop while watching the events of our life but we will appreciate it more when we go along with its flow. Even if the events are happy or sad, we still need to experience our life. Because time cannot slow down when it comes to the happy part of our life and speed it up when it comes to the sad part of life. Time doesn't work that way and we need to understand that so we don't get confused in the direction of our lives.
In life, it is always necessary to move forward just like time. So that we can appreciate the time that we only have.
I'll leave you with a quote from Geoffrey Chaucer:
"Time and tide wait for no man."
