Greetings friends of Hive, especially Hive open mic community. It's a great joy to be back for week 232, with the theme The Taste of Betrayal. Betrayal happens when the trust we had for someone is destroyed or shattered by lies or wrong information, often leading to lot of pain, disappointment and the end of relationships.
In today post, I’ll be sharing a song that perfectly aligns with this theme, the song Sade by Nigerian singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold is a song that revolve around the theme of Betrayal and love. The song was released in 2015, it was written and sung with both English and Yoruba languages. The song narrate a story of a man who asked a girl to marry him but she refuses. Despite his deep love for her, his trust was shattered, and he was left with a lot of pain and disappointment.
With a lot of dedication and practice I was able to carry out this song and I hope you all enjoy it.
