Greetings friends. For some time now I have been creating a Dragon Ball collection that I have been sharing in the community. I have done Roshi, Karin and Yamcha.
The last one I made was Yamcha:

Well, I have now finished the fourth of these characters, Puar. He's a lovely kitty and very friendly with Yamcha, so it seemed logical to do him.

Pues bien, ya terminé al cuarto de estos personajes, Puar. Es un gatito encantador y muy amigo de Yamcha, así que me pareció lógico hacerlo a él.
Step by step
I would like to show briefly how I made this cute character.
I used plasticine and wooden sticks to make it, simple materials that we could all have at home.
For this figure the first thing I did was to gather a lot of plasticine and make the two basic shapes, the head and the body. Then I used blue plasticine, very similar to the color of the character, and covered with it the initial shapes I had made.

Me gustaría mostrar de manera breve cómo hice a este simpático personaje.
Usé plastilina y palillos de madera para hacerlo, materiales sencillos que bien todos podríamos tener en casa.
Para esta figura lo primero que hice fue juntar un montón de plastilina y dar las dos formas bases, la de la cabeza y el cuerpo. Luego usé plastilina de color azul, muy similar al color del personaje, y cubrí con esta las formas iniciales que había hecho.

After making these two pieces, I started working on the limbs. The tail was made from a thin wire, which I covered with plasticine. I covered most of the tail with blue plasticine and only the tip with light skin colored plasticine.
I also made the legs, both upper and lower, in blue, with the bottom part in the same color as the tip of the tail.
Después de hacer estás dos piezas, empecé a trabajar con las extremidades. La cola la hice en base a un alambre delgado, el cual cubrí con plastilina. Gran parte de la cola la cubrí con plastilina azul y solo la punta con plastilina de color piel clara.
De igual manera las patas, tanto inferiores como superiores las hice de color azul, con la parte de abajo del mismo color de la punta de la cola.

Once these parts were ready, I joined them together to form the body of the figure. If you pay attention, the base or support of the figure are the lower legs and the tail, which act as a sort of tripod so that this figure can stand upright, although in the photo below you can't see it standing upright.
Una vez listas estás partes, las uní para formar el cuerpo del personaje. Si prestan atención, la base o soporte de la figura son las patas inferiores y la cola, que actúan como una suerte de trípode para que esta figura pueda mantenerse de pie, aunque en la foto de abajo no puedan verlo precisamente erguido.
Time to talk a bit about the character's face. I thought about making him Yamcha scale, but he's a Chibi character so I didn't make him so small and the head I made huge. Much bigger than the size of the body.
The eyes are two little black dots, with curved eyebrows on top and a big smile. Although I didn't decide for the many faces that Puar has, I will probably change it later, I don't know, but for now that's the expression I decided to give him.
On the other hand, something very important to make the character easy to identify are more ears. I made two triangles and sunk them a little in the center to place more light skin colored plasticine.
As you can see in the photo below, this is what the face looked like before it was finished.
Hora de hablar un poco sobre la cara del personaje. Pensé en hacerlo a escala de Yamcha, pero es un personaje Chibi así que no lo hice tan pequeño y la cabeza la hice enorme. Mucho más grande que el tamaño del cuerpo.
Los ojos son dos pequeños puntos negros, con unas cejas curvas en la parte superior y una gran sonrisa. Aunque no me decidí por las tantas caras que tiene Puar, es probable que la cambie más adelante, no lo sé, pero por ahora esa es la expresión decidí darle.
Por otra parte, algo muy importante para que el personaje sea fácil de identificar son más orejas. Hice dos triángulos y los hundí un poco en el centro para colocar más plastilina de color piel clara.
Tal cómo pueden ver en la foto de abajo, así se veía la cara antes de terminarla.
The figure was practically ready, but something else needed to be done. It's a cat so it needs to have a texture similar to hair, like the one I did with master Karin, one of the previous sculptures I made.
Prácticamente estaba lista la figura, pero faltaba hacerle algo más. Es un gato así que necesita tener una textura similar al pelo, como la que hice con el maestro Karin, una de las esculturas anteriores que hice.
Hence the last step of this work, using a wooden stick to make small lines all along the blue part of the figure and make a texture similar to fur. After finishing all these lines, I joined the two missing pieces, the head to the rest of the body...
De ahí el último paso de este trabajo, usar un palillo de madera para hacer pequeñas líneas a lo largo de toda la parte azúl de la figura y hacer una textura similar al pelaje. Después de terminar todas estas líneas, uní las dos piezas faltantes, la cabeza con el resto del cuerpo...
In this way the figurine was completely finished. Below you can see a series of photographs of the final result:

As you can see, there is Puar with Yamcha. They are two very close characters but I plan to make one more to complete a mini collection within this great collection. You will see in my next publication.
Cómo ven, ahí está Puar con Yamcha. Son dos personaje muy unidos pero planeo hacer uno más para completar una mini colección dentro de esta gran colección. Ya verán en mi próxima publicación.
