Espero se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy les traigo el proceso de esta ilustración que realice recientemente, este dibujo se podría decir que es el reflejo a una de las mejores épocas de mi vida y a la cual con muchísimo entusiasmo le doy la bienvenida nuevamente y es al mundo del kpop, a pesar de que hace muchos años me desprendí del kpop este año he vuelto ha escuchar a todos aquellos artistas y grupos que me llenaron de muchísima inspiración en esos tiempos y uno de ellos y quizas el mas importante es G-Dragon, un cantante, productor y artista que actualmente es conocido por ser el rey del kpop y por el cual inicie en este mundo, tenía muchísimo tiempo sin escuchar su música y el volver a escucharlo luego de tantos años se siente como estar en el cielo por ello decidí hacer este retrato, del cual espero poder realizar muchos más. I hope you are very well, today I bring you the process of this illustration that I made recently, this drawing could say that it is the reflection of one of the best times of my life and to which with great enthusiasm I welcome back and it is the world of kpop, although many years ago I got rid of kpop this year I have returned to listen to all those artists and groups that filled me with a lot of inspiration in those times and one of them and perhaps the most important is G-Dragon, a singer, producer and artist who is currently known for being the king of kpop and for which I started in this world, I had a long time without listening to his music and listening to him again after so many years feels like being in heaven so I decided to make this portrait, of which I hope to make many more. Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomé una imagen de referencia para hacerlo y lo hice con lápiz. Con el boceto terminado comencé a trabajar el rostro, parte de lo que me encantaba cuando estaba muy metida en el mundo del kpop era lo sencillo que era retratar sus rostros, cada uno tenía una característica diferente pero el patrón era casi siempre el mismo sobretodo en la parte del maquillaje o el cabello. Para comenzar a trabajar la piel comencé usando y mezclando varios tonos de marrón para iniciar el sombreado y progresivamente pintar las zonas más iluminadas de su rostro. Para el cabello mezcle verde y amarillo y para las partes más iluminadas use naranja, continúe luego pintando parte de su suéter con marcador negro y usando amarillo y naranja para las luces que se reflejan en el.
I started by making the sketch, I took a reference image to do it and did it with pencil. With the sketch finished I started working on the face, part of what I loved when I was very involved in the world of kpop was how easy it was to portray their faces, each one had a different feature but the pattern was almost always the same especially in the part of the makeup or hair. To start working on the skin I began by using and mixing various shades of brown to start the shading and progressively paint the more illuminated areas of his face. For the hair I mixed green and yellow and for the more illuminated parts I used orange, then continued painting part of his sweater with black marker and using yellow and orange for the lights that reflect on it.
Continúe trabajando el tono de su piel y así fui construyendo las sombras y las luces, como en la imagen de referencia se ve una luz que pasa de naranja a amarillo ésta la integré tanto en su piel como en su cabello y ropa. Con un color plateado pinte sus zarcillos y con el mismo color agregue algunas separaciones en el suéter. Trabaje más el cabello para hacer que se notará no solo el color sino que también se ven algunas raíces de su color natural que están saliendo. Con color negro escribí el tatuaje que tiene en el dedo el cual dice "Peace Minus One" que es la marca de ropa que tiene g-dragon.
I continued working on the tone of his skin and so I was building the shadows and lights, as in the reference image you can see a light that goes from orange to yellow, I integrated it in his skin as well as in his hair and clothes. With a silver color I painted her tendrils and with the same color I added some separations in the sweater. I worked more on the hair to make it show not only the color but also some roots of his natural color that are coming out. With black color I wrote the tattoo she has on his finger which says "Peace Minus One" which is the brand of clothes that g-dragon has.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, para finalizarlo agregue algunos brillos con el corrector líquido blanco en zonas específicas como en su ojo, sus zarcillos, en su nariz y labios, asimismo agregue algunos detalles más precisos en todo su rostro, manos y cabello para hacerlo un poco mas realista. Para finalizar use mis marcadores de alcohol para realizar distintos símbolos que lo representan como lo son la corona que es un símbolo importante que representa a las fans de su grupo musical y el símbolo de la paz sin una linea que representa el "Peace minus one" de su marca personal. Me encantó hacer esta ilustración porque me reconecto con una parte de mi que pensaba que ya no existía sim embargo gracias a mi hermana pude reconectar nuevamente con aquel gusto musical que tanto amaba, como lo es el kpop y su música tanto en solitario como en su grupo. 🌼
This is the result of the drawing, to finish it I added some glosses with the white liquid concealer in specific areas like in his eye, his tendrils, his nose and lips, I also added some more precise details all over his face, hands and hair to make it a little more realistic. Finally I used my alcohol markers to make different symbols that represent him such as the crown which is an important symbol that represents the fans of his band and the peace symbol without a line that represents the "Peace minus one" of his personal brand. I loved doing this illustration because I reconnect with a part of me that I thought no longer existed however thanks to my sister I was able to reconnect again with that musical taste that I loved so much, such as kpop and his music both solo and in his group. 🌼
