Hola mis amigos creativos en hive! Espero se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy les traigo un dibujo nuevamente usando las pinturas acrílicas que compre hace poco, en esta ocasión quise hacer un dibujo menos elaborado y escogí como mi modelo a un gato que es bastante famoso en tiktok por su cara tan adorable, es un gato que me gusta mucho así que decidí hacer está práctica con los acrílicos usándolo como modelo. Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are feeling well, today I bring you a drawing again using the acrylic paints that I bought recently, this time I wanted to make a less elaborate drawing and I chose as my model a cat that is quite famous in tiktok for its adorable face, it is a cat that I like a lot so I decided to do this practice with acrylics using it as a model. Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 5 HB y un borrador moldeable y pinturas acrílicas.

What I used to make the traditional drawing on a 35 x 28 cm cardboard sheet, a 5 HB graphite pencil and a moldable eraser and acrylic paints.

✨Paso a paso/ Step by Step✨

Comencé haciendo el boceto y para ello busque una imagen de referencia de el gato, trace todas las líneas que me servirían de guía y luego las borre para evitar manchas los colores que colocaría. Empecé mezclando acrílico amarillo y rojo para ir colocando los tonos de las manchas de su pelaje y a su vez comencé a pintar la naranja en su cabeza usando esos mismos colores. Intercalando los tonos de su pelaje de unos más claros a otros más oscuros fui construyendo todas las manchas que tiene en su rostro y en sus patas, también usando rojo y blanco pinte el color base de su nariz. Dejé unas zonas de la naranja más claras que otras por la iluminación que tenía la imagen.

I started by making the sketch and for that I looked for a reference image of the cat, I drew all the lines that would serve as a guide and then I erased them to avoid staining the colors that I would place. I started mixing yellow and red acrylic to place the tones of the spots on his fur and in turn began to paint the orange on his head using those same colors. Interspersing the shades of his fur from lighter to darker ones I built up all the spots on his face and paws, also using red and white I painted the base color of his nose. I left some areas of the orange lighter than others because of the illumination of the image.

Para hacer las manchas más oscuras mezcle el tono que había usado para el color base de su pelaje con pintura azul y así fui ubicando las manchas más oscuras en su rostro y en sus patas, asimismo use esta mezcla para sombrear la naranja en la zona donde se apoya de la cabeza del gato. Con la mezcla de naranja y azul obtuve un tono marrón que lo empleé para hacer los pliegues de donde el gato está acostado, con una mezcla de naranja y blanco fui unificando algunos tonos de su pelaje para que estos no tuvieran el tono blanco de la hoja sino para darle más volumen.

To make the darkest spots I mixed the tone I had used for the base color of his fur with blue paint and so I placed the darkest spots on his face and paws, I also used this mixture to shade the orange in the area where the cat's head rests. With the mixture of orange and blue I obtained a brown tone that I used to make the folds where the cat is lying down, with a mixture of orange and white I was unifying some tones of his fur so that they did not have the white tone of the sheet but to give it more volume.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, continue el dibujo haciendo detalles más precisos como parte de su pelaje, su nariz y boca y sus ojos cerrados los cuales sombree un poco. Quise hacer que el pelaje se viera más dinámico por ello use pintura blanca para resaltar algunas de las partes blancas del mismo y con un pincel delgado fui construyendo el pelaje en esas zonas. Para terminar el dibujo use pintura blanca para pintar sus bigotes, algunos pelitos en sus ojos cerrados y el brillo de la naranja. Aunque tuve un poco de descontrol a la hora de usar las pinturas y mezclar los tonos y aplicarlos pude obtener un resultado bonito que me encantó y que sé que me ayudó para mis próximas prácticas con el acrílico. ❤️

This is the result of the drawing, I continued the drawing making more precise details like part of his fur, his nose and mouth and his closed eyes which I shaded a little bit. I wanted to make the fur look more dynamic so I used white paint to highlight some of the white parts of the fur and with a thin brush I built up the fur in those areas. To finish the drawing I used white paint to paint his whiskers, some little hairs in his closed eyes and the orange glow. Even though I had a little bit of uncontrol at the time of using the paints and mixing the tones and applying them I was able to get a nice result that I loved and that I know helped me for my next practices with acrylics. ❤️
