One thing I hate about living in the country is how long some things take to get shipped to me. About a week and a half ago/two weeks I ordered some more goodies from the big E, and over the past week things have been coming in. I’m still waiting on one package however that’s going to be a special post on it’s own as what I ordered was a staple of my childhood I can’t wait to share with you!
But for the other things, well, if you guess they were more Resident Evil games you are correct! You might remember me mentioning in my previous posts about a desire to collect all the Resident Evil games, and well, I’ve got four more to add to the collection!
When we look at a big of a series as Resident Evil it is a bit tricky to find out where you want to start off collecting. Previously I ordered Resident Evil Outbreak for the ps2, Resident Evil Veronica for the ps2, and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii. All were relatively cheap with Outbreak costing the most at at around $30.

Hace aproximadamente una semana y media/dos semanas pedí algunos obsequios más de la gran E, y durante la semana pasada han ido llegando cosas. Cuando miramos una serie tan grande como Resident Evil, es un poco complicado saber dónde quieres empezar a coleccionar. Anteriormente ordené Resident Evil Outbreak para ps2, Resident Evil Veronica para ps2 y Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles para Wii. Todos eran relativamente baratos, siendo Outbreak el que costaba más, alrededor de 30 dólares.
One of the things I was not looking forward to getting, money wise, was the ps1 games as these are a bit more pricey and goddamn did my wallet ever feel the sting of my collecting decision as I decided to buy 2 Resident Evil games for the PS1. But we’ll get to that in a bit, as I’d like to talk about the games in the order I got them in.
So right away I knew that one of the games I wanted to order was Outbreak 2, so that when I do play Outbreak there would be no wait after I beat the game. Outbreak 2 cost me $56.00, and got in last Thursday.
Now there are some things I disliked about this mostly the stickers on the case. I was able to peel them off but there is one that I believed to be on the side of the case but was actually stuck on the cover, which is kind of annoying, but it did remind me of the awesome days of Movie Gallery!

The same day Resident Evil 3 also came in. And this is where I am kicking myself in the ass. You see when you’re on mobile you actually have to click See Description to see the description of the item. Well, I bought this item on mobile without releasing there was a description for it as it was hidden. And unfortunately for me, the jewel case for the game is actually broken! Overall I paid $104.22 for the game, plus throw in a few extra dollars there for when I buy a replacement case.
! [Spanish]El mismo día también llegó Resident Evil 3. Y aquí es donde me estoy dando patadas en el trasero. Verás que cuando estás en el móvil tienes que hacer clic en Ver descripción para ver la descripción del artículo. Bueno, compré este artículo en el móvil sin revelarlo. Había una descripción porque estaba oculto. Y desafortunadamente para mí, ¡el estuche del juego está roto! A few days prior to these games getting in I got a very concerning email from the seller of another one of the games I purchased. It turns out a Canada post called him up and said there was an issue delivering the package. It turns out he put the wrong shipping address on the label! Now whenever you use an autofill to type my address in it always gives one off that is on the other side of the country and never my actual address. But the seller was able to get it sent to me and even paid for expedited shipping for the mistake.
And that game of course was Resident Evil 2, which cost me $91.99 and it just got in today along with another game! This game is in really good condition and I’m more than happy with the price I paid. The case is in good condition, and it is obvious that someone cared for this game.
! [Spanish]Unos días antes de que llegaran estos juegos, recibí un correo electrónico muy preocupante del vendedor de otro de los juegos que compré. Resulta que un correo de Canadá lo llamó y le dijo que había un problema con la entrega del paquete. ¡Resulta que puso la dirección de envío incorrecta en la etiqueta! Ahora, cada vez que usas un autocompletar para escribir mi dirección, siempre muestra una que está en el otro lado del país y nunca mi dirección real. Pero el vendedor pudo hacer que me lo enviaran e incluso pagó el envío acelerado por el error.
¡Y ese juego, por supuesto, fue Resident Evil 2, que me costó $91,99 y acaba de llegar hoy junto con otro juego! Este juego está en muy buenas condiciones y estoy más que contento con el precio que pagué. La caja está en buenas condiciones y es obvio que alguien cuidó este juego.
And lastly is Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City. Now ORC is a PS3 game and is non canon. In it you play as USS Delta team during the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3, as you are sent into Raccoon City to secure the T-Virus, and G-Virus which eventually leads to the Raccoon City outbreak. It’s a what if scenario because there are a few moments in the game that conflict with already existing lore.
! [Spanish]Y por último está Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City. Ahora ORC es un juego de PS3 y no es canon. En él, juegas como el equipo USS Delta durante los eventos de Resident Evil 2 y 3, mientras te envían a Raccoon City para proteger el T-Virus y el G-Virus, que eventualmente conducen al brote de Raccoon City. Es un escenario hipotético porque hay algunos momentos en el juego que entran en conflicto con la historia ya existente.
This here only cost me $17.00 and it’s an alright price.
Overall, I still have two big game purchases left for this series before I can start moving onto the cheaper stuff, and that is Resident Evil 1, which goes for about $150, and Resident Evil Gaiden which goes for hundreds of dollars!
I believe my next purchases for the games are going to be some cheaper ones. I will be getting deadly aim, 4, and Darkside chronicles.
