We've been seeing new trends lately regarding AI converting plain text prompts to pictures, art and even videos. Art has always been a form of expression, with the artist conveying their emotions and thoughts through the use of colour, brushstrokes, and other artistic elements. In recent years, technology has begun to change the way that art is created, with artists now using computers and software to create digital art. One type of digital art that is becoming increasingly popular is art that is generated by artificial intelligence (AI). AI art is created by algorithms that are designed to mimic the creative process of human artists. These algorithms analyze the content of a piece of text and then generate an image that represents that text.AI art can be used to create visually appealing images from textual data such as news articles or social media posts. It can also be used to create abstract representations of complex concepts. The possibilities for AI art are only limited by the imagination of the artist or programmer.
Today, I tried out one of these numerous AI software and decided to use a song as the text prompt. I picked Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. It is a pretty expressive song open to various forms of interpretation and I wanted to see how well an AI could turn each line of the lyrics into art.
For this experiment, I used Wombo. There was no reason for this in particular, it was just one of the top results that came up in a google search.
This AI also had different art forms so I had to choose randomly for different lines of lyrics and chose the image I felt best represented what I wanted. The different art forms included:
