Hello, esteem members of this wonderful community. It's quite great to be part of this week's contest. I happened to miss last week's contest, which led to my early submission this week.
100 million dollars is quite a lot of money in my country, so what is the need to leave when I have such a large amount of money in my possession? It's just to get settled down and make a really great deal of investments to keep me going and, along with that, double my money.
I have got a lot of things to do, lots of projects to carry out, lots of responsibility to keep up with, so having such money with me will not only serve as a boost to my life journey but also make me and my entire family all set for life.
There stand to be many reasons why I decided to take up this option and write about it. Hence, these reasons are therefore discussed in the subsequent paragraphs below.
HOME SWEET HOME: They stand to be no place like home, so instead of going out to establish and get other countries all developed while back home there is nothing to write about, I will just take this money and hence utilize it in ways in which will benefit myself, family, close friends and the society at large.
So staying permanently in Nigeria wouldn't be a problem. Besides, I am given the opportunity to travel to other countries and stay as much as two (2) weeks. That's a lot and will definitely provide the vacation that I will be needing in subsequent times.
CULTURE AND HERITAGE: Yes, I want what is best for my unborn children to come. Giving them the privilage to be born outside is great, but relocating there permanently becomes a problem. It will make them forget their roots and also the culture and ways of life of their people.
So, residing permanently in Nigeria will therefore give me the required opportunity to inculcate whatever norms and values these children are supposed to learn. Our culture is what defines us and makes us distinct, so it will be bad if I deprive them of this knowledge. Hence, residing permanently in Nigeria will give them an edge to know more about their own people. On the other hand, with this money in my possession, they will all be well enriched with the various cultural values of their country, for they can tour all the nocks and crancks of the country.
BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL: We so much admire the white race that we forget to think that ours is more of worth than what we take it to be. These white folks admire us so much, like they are so much into us that they can't get enough, so why throw that away? This skin color helps remind us of who we are. With this money in my possession, I did just make my black become more beautiful and help me protect this skin color I have inherited. It is what defines me.
Black is gold, black is priceless been black is never mistake so with such amount of money with me it will therefore help and encourage me to continue being what I am and not this thinking of leaving for something else.
This 100 million dollar to me in this context stand to be a motivating factor to help remind me of what is right. We have lived most of our lives wanting to leave the country, so given such amount to stay back for the rest of my life wouldn't be a problem at all for being being Black is who I am.
I was born and brought up in this country. Why leave for somewhere else to get what I am already gifted with? One of the major reasons we leave this country is to pursue greener pastures, so with 100 million dollars in my possession, there stands to be no reason to leave than to make a good establishment in my country and remain permanently.
With this amount of money in my possession and a two(2) weeks vacation to any country of my choice, they are list of countries I will like to visit below are some of them.
KOREA: This has always been my dream country right from my childhood. I find this country quite interesting and lively. I would like to visit and see things for myself and also learn about a new culture for educational purposes. So, in Korea, I will definitely spend my two weeks getting everything ready for the life I have planned for the country.
PARIS: Another country which I would love to visit is Paris. I get to see the beauty of the world from a different perspective. This visit will majorly be for fun and sight-seeing. I will spend just a week, so I won't get my money exhausted for fun and sight-seeing.
JERUSALEM: I don't know why this is, but I would love to satisfy my curiosity about this. So I will visit this country due to the fact that I have got to hear a great deal of it from the Bible and other books I have read.
With such an amount of money in my possession just to remain in my country, it wouldn't be bad. Besides, it will help bring all the life I have badly wanted to my doorstep by just remaining in my country permanently.
Nigeria is not a bad place to stay though despite all the recent tends and bad developments rooting from all round the country they are still lots of great things to benefit from the country so without a second thought I wouldn't hesitate to take the offer of remaining permanently in my country.
