Today is Sunday, the day when most Christians are regarded to attend the church in order to pray. I have been a Christian, and also a singer by profession, therefore I began my day by attending the church meeting to offer my vocals singing and praising God. The service was moving and full of the Holy Spirit giving me an energy boost for the rest of the week.
When I got back home from catering for my church duty, I felt like being creative, and hence I took my time to do what I like most, that is crafting. Ever since I was young, I have had the passion for hand made work specially when it come to made beautiful things so today I decide to make a DIY paper bucket craft.
List of materials used
Two different Cardboard papers
Scissors
Gum
Ruler
Pencil
As usual before I begin any work I have to make sure materials are ready
Step1:
The very first thing I did to form the base of the work was to take measurement on my pink cardboard paper 10cm I used my ruler to make it and then use the scissor to cut it out
Step2:
Here I had to fold it in a wave like manner
Step3:
I went on to gum the three pieces together as seen in the picture and this was the structure I got
Step4:
I drew out a circle to cover the button part of the bucket using gum
Step5:
Creating a handle for the bucket by take measurement of a straight line with the ruler and fold it in attached it to the bucket using gum
Step6
Here I had to get another color of cardboard yellow to add a touch of beauty to the bucket so I decided to make flowers, measurement was 5*5cm
Step 7
The final process was to gum the flowers to the bucket.
Ever since childhood, craft has been my way of taking my mind off something and also releasing the artistic spirit in me. Such is a wonderful feeling because it allows me focusing on personal perceptions and feelings.
