A Day In My Life: Eating State Side Food, Traveling to Manggub Eco Park Calangahan Coastal Areas

I only eat state side food just like this one, seldom. Today, My Aunt Called mw through phone call and she asked to come over to her house and I don't have any ideas what is it. I was very delighted to went there and I've decided to do travel early in the morning so that I can avoided intense heat and so I can get back home. My real plan and destination will be in Mahanggub Eco Park and after that, in Calangahan Coastal areas. Exactly 5 in the morning when I finally arrived at my Aunt's place and it was really early in the Morning. As I greeted my Aunt, she hurriedly went to the kitchen to get something and I don't have any ideas what it be. After a few minutes, she gave this can goods and I was very surprised to see this can goods. I asked here where did it came from and she said that it came from Canada. Wow, I never tasted food or any can goods from canada or any state side foods. Her Daughter is in Canada and sending lots of can goods here in the Country and my Aunt gave me some. I thanked my Aunt and hurriedly went home to try to taste, I fried it before dipping in the soysauce and the taste was really good.

Travel Mahanggub Eco-Park:

It was late 10 in the morning when me and my Friends arrived at Mahanggub Eco Park located in the Mountain place of Naawan, Misamis Oriental. Many of my Friends told me about how beautiful and relaxing the place is, and it is good to see in actuall. As we arrived at the place traveling almost an hour, I was very amazed of it. The areas is truly peaceful, quite and relaxing. For me this is just like a paradise place perfect for summer getaways and camping trips. The place is surrounded with lots of trees, wild plants and some wild animals like birds.

The water here at the Park came from the spring not far from the eco-park. The water was very cold and refreshing and aside of that, it supports and contributes lots of water to the pond and the falls here in Naawan. I explored the place and do a short hiking activities near at the spring, And I've seen that the water really flows from here going down to the Park.

There are lots of rocks rolled down from the top places of the mountain because it is near at the mountain ranges. It rolled down here many years already covered with mosst, algae plants and wild plants. I think that crabs, shrimps and fish will surely hid under the big stones and it will be perfect to catch fish here but it is prohibited to do that kind of activities.

Structures at The Park:

This are the structures can be seen and found here and all of it are made of round lumbers and some light materials like bamboo pieces coated with Natural Varnish. In this kind of views, surely people who came from far places went here just to visit the park will be very satisfied and amazed of how beautiful the place is. I kept myself exploring there taking lots of pictures of the structures and the landscape inside of the Park.

This crystal clear cols water is very tempting to all people who wants to do splashing to the water. Big rocks and peebles can be seen under the water and a long concrete blocks that served as a chair to all people who swim here. We spend almost a few hours there exploring the place.

Coastal Travel Activities:

A great travel is not yet finished, we proceed to the coastal areas of Barangay Calangahan, a place were lots of beautiful over views. From the top near at the coastal area, the great wide sea scapes can be seen here.

After a few minutes of taking pictures, we proceed to walk at the beach and it was a little bit challenging for us because of those big rocks and corals at the shore. It needs to walk very carrefully to avoid slipping at the rocks. It was a great day and time for me along with my friends. Until next post, have a nice day everyone.
