Greetings everyone, today we decided to do coconut harvesting. This is one of our primary source of income here and helps us lot specially on our Family needs. We are lucky to have a place were we can plant lots of valuable plants like coconut trees, banana plants and other kinds of fruit trees. Our harvested was started yesterday and finished today. I am very happy because there are lots of coconut we harvested and estimated almost 6,000 coconuts to be harvested and sell. Aside of the harvesting, market day is also fun and enjoyable in fact we also did this day. Every harvesting activities, I also help my Family gathering those coconuts in one place so it will be very easy to hauled using a wooden cart pulled by Carabao and transported to the other side of the place where truck can went.

Each coconut trees can be harvested almost 50 pieces of it and this ia not really bad for this Month's harvesting. I carefully placed those coconuts in place were the wooden cart can pass and its up for the hauler to get those and hauled to the cart. Everyt harvesting, coconut hualing takes 2 days before it will completely done. Those coconuts will carried accross the river so it much better to hauled it while there is no rain to avoid flood.

Those palm from the coconut trees falled to tge ground are also very useful and important in terms of firewoods. This thing is what we always used everytime when we cooked foods or boiled water. I decided to gathered lots of it and stored lots of it for rainy seasons. I removed those leaves carefully and placed on the areas were it wont get wet. Sometimes we also sell dried palms in the Market for 5 Pesos per Tie.

Those removed coconut leaves are also good for organic fertilizers and as for that, we put those leaves near at the coconut stems and let it decomposed and turned into an organic fertilizers. Instead using synthetic fertilizer, we only used organic so the soil wont get damage.

Searching those coconuts scattered to the ground is very easy because our Farm land does not contains any tall wild grass. It can be easily seen those coconuts and put in one place. We really cleaning up and cut those wild plants so that the place can be more attractive and clean.

The road that contains lots of muddy puddles are also filled with rocks, this can make the cart avoiding of being damage. The carabao can easily pulled the cart if there is no any muddy puddles. Lots of rocks filled to the ground and some road obstacles like big rocks and falling branches are also removed.

My Father was also busy replacing the old rope on his cow and It looks like it is really difficult to replace it. He tried to tied the rope at the coconut tree but for him, this work is very easy and in fact he already did this many times already.
