Coconuts is one of our Primary source of income here and we always do harvesting every two Months. Luckily we have a neighbor who willing to buy our coconuts and it wont be hassle to transport to far place because they also owned a truck were the Coconuts hauled. Coconuts are very important to us in terms for income and also, there are lots of uses just like making broomsticks and processing a charcoal made of coconut shells. All of this can be sell to the Market.
We also owned a simple garden near at our house and many times we harvested those vegetables we planted here. This is good for our Family meals and wont be expense lots of Money to buy expensive foods just like vegetables and crops. There are lots of space were we can plant different kinds of vegetables and crops and it is good to make the place well developed into a farm land.
There are also few fruit trees we planted here and some of it are now producing lots of fruits just like this Pomelo. Manggo trees are already produced lots of fruits during manggo season and we harvested lots of fruits and sell some of it to the Market. We kept planting lots of fruit trees at the farm and it will be good to harvest lots of it.
This big oven we have here is used for processing Charcoal made of Coconut shells and woods. We brought it 2,500 Pesos and we used it many times already. This oven can filled almost 6 Sacks of charcoal but for now we keep gathering lots of coconut shells and woods for making charcoal. There are lots of coconut shells scattered here at the Farm and it is better to gathered and processed it into charcoal, that is why we brought this big oven.
We decided to put a small Fish Pond here. We are enjoyed watching those fish swimmed and fed. It takes few weeks before this pond was completely finished. This pond consists of 500 Big commercial telapia fish and we feed it every morning and afternoon. Some of the fish are already sell to the Market and some of it are our meals. We keep the water clean and we removed dry leaves floating to the water and we keep draining the water every 15 days.
We also built this unique house structure near at the fish pond. This will be our resting place everytime when we visited the Farm. This house is made of light materials like Lumbers, Bamboo pieces, plainsheets as rooftops and Hardeflex as walls.
This water pump was already put in here many years already. This is very important and useful to us here in terms of fetching clean water used for cleaning the food we eat.
We owned this farm raising animals like Goats and Cows. Aside of that few chickens are also cared and cultured here. Take caring of farm raising animals are fun and enjoyable, in fact we already sell some of the animals and the money we earned has been used to renovate our house.
Our Farm is near at the river, everytime when there is a flood we kept ourselves monitoring the flood and getting ready to evacuate any time. But despite of that kind of situations, this river helps us just like for our meals in fact we got to the river to catch fish, shrimps and shells.
