The Province of Misamis Oriental particularly here in Manticao contains lots of relaxing and wonderful views. Trees, landscapes, rivers and seas are some of the best sceneries can be seen here. Here in Manticao particularly here in Zone 23, there are also some places contains a great and interesting stories back in Many years. One Of the best and interesting place to visit here are found in Sitio Linangga, the place were few Native houses was built. My Grandfather told me about the stories in the place were lots of Native people lives here. But before we proceed to my Main topic, allow me to share the exact location.

Location of The Place:

Sitio Linangga is found quitely far from Crowded places in Barangay Poblacion. From Manticao Public Market, it needs to travel almost an hour before it reach the place. Sitio Linangga is the border point between two Barangays, The Barangay Poblacion and Barangay Paniangan and all of this place are located in one Municipality. This Sitio is near at the river and mountainous places and it is a kind of agricultural land.

When this place are not yet developed into an agricultural land, this areas was once a village place to all Native people. According to the stories that my Grandfather told, almost 15 houses are built ij here. The place was once filled with many crops and corn plants. Pineapples and sugarcane plants was also planted by Native people here, in fact they also owned a sugarcane crusher and squizzer made of solid woods and lumbers. But when those people are gone for many years, and occupied by present people, the placs was now turned into a field of coconuts and Animal ranch.

Not far from the areas is a place were big tornado hit. Almost 10 Years already when a tornado hit the place bringing a big amount of water sprouts and winds. The land was creating a hole and few water channels.

Some of the water channels can be seen here are used as a road trail to all residents who lives in the place. It connects to the stream down to the river.

This is the stream can be seen and found in the place. As the intense heat continued to happens here, the water was already dried living this big chunk of stones covered with algae. It contains lots of water everytime when there is a heavy rain and it will dried within a few weeks.

This simple house was made with lumber and woods and it is owned by some of the landowners and farmers here. It builts at the middle of the field, but the most interesting stories of the place were the house was built is this was a cemetery by Native people. Lots of archeologist wants to excavate the place but the owner don't aggreed the proposal.

Parts of the River:

The place near at the river has also a lot of changes and one of this is the place were lots of trees grows that time. Because of the strong and big floods happens here, som of the cliff was been eroded and those big trees was already buried with sands and submerged in fresh water. Some of the trees are not yet drown but the roots are now showed to the surfaces.

A shallow and crytasl clear fresh water can also be seen here. Lots of children loves to visit here for a swim specially during summer season. This fresh water was came from mountainous places here in the Municipality and it flows all the way down to the sea.

This place was once a dry land but it completely submerged by fresh water. Lots of big trees can be seen here that time just like big Molave trees, but as the climate changes the place was completely eroded and those big trees are also buried to the sand. One of this are already showed to the surface and sinking to the water for many decades.

Visiting this place is very fun and enjoyable specially the behind historical stories of the place. Thank you for visiting my post, have a nice day everyone.
