Parents are the greatest gift given by God, no matter what they have done to you, never neglect them, always love them.
Most people usually neglect their poor parents when they eventually become rich. Our poor parents are always pure in heart, it feels very sad to neglect them after they have taken good care of you. Just because you made money, you now feel ashamed of your foundation know as your parents.
Your parents might be doing dirty jobs, they are living in a thatched house which looks very uncomfortable to stay in. Yes your father still don't have a decent job at his old age, your mother still farms till now, but don't forget that it was this dirty jobs that helped to set you in right position for making the clean money that you are boasting of now.
You are who you are today because of your parents, if they have neglected you when you were still a hopeless child it would have been worse than were you have found yourself today. Don't be ashamed of your parents because of their condition or the job they are currently doing, if you don't like it get them a new one, because it is part of your responsibility to give them a better life just as they did for you.
Those who want to live a life of fulfilment should never abandon their parents for any reason, it is against the principle of life. You can never neglect the hand that fed you and expect to prosper, it does not and will not work that way.
Love your parents, cherish them, take care of them and make it a compulsory responsibility to keep giving them a better life.
