The battles in modern format are more challenging and i struggled a lot to reach gold III league after trying for almost 2 days.
The loot chests i received for reaching gold III were 8 minor chests and 4 major chests and details of the rewards i got are as below:
As we see, i got 7 loot chests contained cards with total cards i got are 14 cards and 2 of those were gold foiled common cards.
Ujurak brave is the first one which is a melee attack neutral monster with immunity ability. The water splinter card of giant alpine skink which is like a dinosaur is with 3 melee attack and has armors and shield ability as we see the second card.
The third card is lucheim demon which is a ranged attack neutral monster with 3 attack and fourth one is a camouflage ability monster of ujurak elder which is a magic attack monster from neutral category.
Next, i got 2 gold foiled black moor elf and 4 regular foiled same card and these are all earth splinter magic attack monsters and these too have camouflage ability.
Last monster card i got is the lucheim demon again with number of cards and these hopefully lets me upgrade some of the cards i have.
Apart from this, 2 alchemy potions and 5 energy potions i got.
The energy is something which is being required for each battle we have to fight and energy is costlier than potions and as we see from above screenshot, each energy cost about 1700 glint token for me for being in diamond III league in wild format and that means 1700 * 5, I got about 8500 glint from these energy potions and those are the rewards i got for reaching gold III in modern format.
Why i fight in gold III when i am already in diamond III in wild format?
Well, as we all know, the rewards earnings in higher leagues will be lesser because of staked sps requirement and on top of that, we have to pay $2 for purchasing the wild pass.
The rewards in modern format are way better because i am in lower league and sps staking requirements are less to have more boost points.
So, i normally earn almost 3 times sps and atleast 2 times the glint i get from wild format battle wins.
That clearly makes me feel i should battle it out manually in modern format instead of going with wild pass battling in wild format. The rewards as i mentioned are way better in modern format and i have already earned the rewards i normally earn for whole season in wild format, so whatever i earn from now onwards until season end are bonus for me and if i can reach atleast 2 more higher leagues gold II and gold I, i can earn even more loot chests along with glint and sps earning.
Hoping to finish atleast in gold I this season to get into diamond league in the next season.
