Today I'm here to show you some macro photographs of a beautiful and colourful insect called Dogbane Beetle. Chrysochus auratus is its scientific name and its size was about 6mm.
I found it in fields sitting on top of a herb. It was shining in daylight so i easily saw it. When i noticed it i decided to photograph it. Although I photographed it some days ago at a different location but i couldn't resist myself to photograph it. So i approached it carefully and tried to take some macro shots of it. It was one of the most beautiful beetle i ever saw.
Its head was black and its body was colourful and shining. I photographed it from different angles so you can see its beauty very well. I captured it with my mobile's macro lens. It didn't face much difficulty while photographing it because it didn't move much and the place was comfortable to stand.
