Road House / El Duro
Road House es una película del genero de acción y pelea digna de ver acompañado de una gran pila de palomitas, si lo que te gusta es pasar un buen rato viendo como los actores se propinan tremendas golpizas.
Precisamente hace unos días yo me preguntaba quienes son ahora los exponentes de este genero de acción y peleas que parece un poco ya infravalorado, en lo personal lo disfruto mucho y lo disfruté demasiado cuando hace unos años veía en pantalla a Jean Claude Van Dame repartiendo patadas en la pantalla grande.
Road House is an action and fighting movie worth watching with a big pile of popcorn, if you like to have a good time watching how the actors beat the crap out of each other.
Just a few days ago I was wondering who are now the exponents of this genre of action and fights that seems a little underrated, personally I enjoy it very much and I enjoyed it too much when a few years ago I saw Jean Claude Van Dame on screen delivering kicks on the big screen.
Lo cierto es que Jake Gyllenhaal hace una interpretación genial a mi humilde manera de ver, pues no solo es un personaje que reparte patadas y golpes, no, en esta película el personaje principal está mas sensibilizado a comparación de la antigua película con le mismo nombre que interpretara Patrick Swayze.
No digo que el refrito que han hecho ahora sea mejor, solo que me parece que es muy interesante que el personaje sea mas inteligente y menos bruto que en la anterior, les repito que esto es a mi humilde manera de pensar.
The truth is that Jake Gyllenhaal makes a great interpretation in my humble way of seeing, because he is not only a character that delivers kicks and punches, no, in this film the main character is more sensitive compared to the old movie with the same name played by Patrick Swayze.
I'm not saying that the remake they have done now is better, I just think it is very interesting that the character is more intelligent and less gross than in the previous one, I repeat that this is my humble way of thinking.
The perfect antagonist / El mejor antagonista
Creo que unos de los ingredientes que mas sabor le dan a esta película es el antagónico perfecto a cargo de Conor McGregor el ex campeón de la UFC, que de verdad que sorprende con lo bien que le queda ese papel de maniaco golpeador.
De hecho yo al ver la película y desconocer de que se trataba me sorprendí al verlo en pantalla y aun mas con lo bien que le queda el papel, sin duda una mención honorifica para el villano del año.
Otro punto a favor de la película es que las escenas de trifulca están muy bien cuidadas, a pesar del desorden que vez en pantalla a la hora de los golpes no te pierdes en las secuencias y en cámara se ve todo muy bien escenificado, de verdad que se agradece, en lo personal me disgustan esas películas que muestran un gran caos en pantalla y todo al fin no tiene ni pies ni cabeza.
I think one of the ingredients that give more flavor to this movie is the perfect antagonist in charge of Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, who really surprises with how well he fits the role of maniac puncher.
In fact, when I saw the movie and not knowing what it was about, I was surprised to see him on screen and even more with how well he fits the role, certainly an honorable mention for the villain of the year.
Another point in favor of the film is that the fight scenes are very well cared for, despite the mess you see on screen at the time of the blows you do not get lost in the sequences and in camera everything looks very well staged, really appreciated, personally I dislike those movies that show a lot of chaos on screen and everything at the end has no head or tail.

En lo personal he disfrutado mucho ver esta película, pues el genero es uno de mis favoritos, además de que los actores son de la mejor selección.
El hecho de que sea un refrito de una película antigua no influye en nada a la historia contada pues creo que está muy bien actualizada, el factor de que la UFC este de cierta forma involucrada le da una sensación de que los peleas son muy reales, imagino que tuvieron consultores de artes marciales de mucha altura, para tener a Connor McGregor en su nomina no es cualquier cosa.
Por el lado romántico de esta película no me ha gustado la pareja que le han puesto al protagonista como que siento que pudieron conseguirle algo mas de su edad, no se, siento que fue demasiado joven para el, pero bueno a lo mejor es parte de lo que querían lograr, que el Duro se queda con las mas jóvenes y bellas.

Personally I really enjoyed watching this movie, as the genre is one of my favorites, plus the actors are of the best selection.
The fact that it is a rehash of an old movie does not influence anything to the story told because I think it is very well updated, the factor that the UFC is involved in some way gives a feeling that the fights are very real, I imagine they had martial arts consultants of great height, to have Connor McGregor on their payroll is not just anything.
On the romantic side of this movie I didn't like the partner they put the main character as I feel they could have gotten him something more his age, I don't know, I feel he was too young for him, but maybe that's part of what they wanted to achieve, that the tough guy stays with the younger and more beautiful ones.
