We are on the brink of becoming a civilization. The first requirement for achieving this goal – immortality – is almost complete. Now, we must tackle the next step: food type.
Currently, our population consists of 2 billion humans and 6 billion vampires who have been domesticated over time to become non-carnivorous. This presents us with an interesting challenge: how do we feed such a diverse range of people?
One solution would be to create synthetic foods that can satisfy both human and vampire dietary needs without sacrificing quality or nutrition levels. These could come in many forms such as vegetarian burgers made from plant proteins or even lab-grown meat substitutes that taste exactly like real animal products but contain no animal products at all! We could also look into creating edible insects which are high in protein while still being suitable for both species’ diets; these could provide us with an abundant source of sustainable nutrition while reducing our reliance on traditional farming methods which often damage the environment due to their intensive use of resources like water and land space
Another option would be aquaculture; by cultivating fish, shellfish, seaweed etc., we can produce large amounts of healthy food sources quickly and efficiently without depleting natural resources or causing harm to animals living in those ecosystems (as long as they’re farmed responsibly). Additionally, it has been shown that some types aquatic life may even contain beneficial compounds not found elsewhere - making them ideal candidates for inclusion into any diet plan
Ultimately though - whatever route is taken - it will require careful planning if humanity is ever going truly achieve its dream becoming a fully realized civilization capable feeding itself sustainably forevermore
In order to do this, we need innovative solutions such as vertical farming which allows crops like fruits & vegetables be grown indoors with minimal water usage & no pesticides; hydroponics which uses nutrient-rich water instead soil; aquaculture where fish farms provide seafood sustainably; insect farms producing edible insects as an alternative source protein; lab-grown meat made from animal cells instead slaughtering animals directly etc… All these methods will help ensure adequate nutrition while reducing impact on environment significantly
We have come far since the days when mortality was something only dreamed about but there is still much more work ahead if we want truly become an advanced civilization capable sustaining itself indefinitely
