A Number From the Ghost is a project from Peter Adams, a musician from Cincinnati, Ohio. He's been producing and releasing music since 2004, and has a number of albums already available on Bandcamp and Spotify.
Blackassette is a track 'inspired by early computer animation, endless museums, birthday parties in the nineties, video stores, summer dreams, carpeted dens, the inexplicable dread of being alive, and the excitement of waking up on a Saturday morning.'
It's a lovely track which combines elements of ambient, downtempo and IDM, with a heavily processed melodic vocal element to cohesively bring it all together, a song-based structure that feels very tune-like...
