Grey Skies is the work of Elias Smilios, who's moved away from his indie roots and moved into and IDM / ambient direction with his debut Grey Skies project, YEAR. Inspired by misty scenes of nature, YEAR creates a transcendental atmosphere that echoes Smilios’ escapist tendencies.
Grey Skies brings together organic and ambient sounds, analogue synthesis, combined with guitar and bass alongside alto saxophone performed by Thanasis Sampaziotis Macubert.
