Dear @gungunkrishu, sorry to jump in a bit off topic but may I ask you to support the HiveSQL proposal?
It lost its funding recently and your help would be much appreciated to keep the HiveSQL service free for the Hive community.
You can do it on Peakd, Ecency, Hive.blog or using HiveSigner.

Thank you for your support!

I'm sorry but how is this bringing value to Hive and not just considered farming post rewards, especially looking at the constant same voters you have on your posts and them also getting your votes in exchange on their posts.

You don't even have any links to your Hive account on the youtube channel to attempt to bring people here which a social media platform really needs.

How am I supposed to see this in any other way than you just attempting to farm 2x more rewards than curating with your account is meant to give you by practically selfvoting 10x per day in disguise of votetrading? How are random words or sayings from hindi translated to english bringing any value when no one except your votetrader buddy using the tipu command seem to be interested in consuming this content here?

Sorry to be blunt but what the fuck is going on in your blog.

Hi dear @acidyo,

I have two Youtube channels; Healthder[99K Subscribers] and LearnTogether[18K+ Subscribers] and the content do bring in value to people, who are struggling to learn English but do know Hindi as their mother tongue. The same goes with the Healthdear channel providing information tied to health, home remedies etc. I do have a website as well and earlier when I use to write content on my website, I had leveraged the stempress plugin to direct users to my Hive blog here. Also at the same time, I have a twitter plugin on my website, where my tweets on the content uses tags tied to HIVE to get users attention.

image.png

At the same time, I have been doing my best/part to spread the words on other blockchains like LBRY/Odyssey as well.

image.png

If my content was not bringing any value then I suppose that both of my Youtube channels wouldn't have been adding subscribers on a daily basis. I agree that my channels were not having link back to HIVE; which I have updated to point to my HIVE account. I had no intentions of not adding the link back to HIVE, just that I didn't update the page.

image.png

Do you still feel that I shouldn't be posting this content here on HIVE?

Best Regards

I feel that the rewards these posts are getting don't seem deserving considering close no one seems to be interested in these posts here on Hive and at the same time there were no links encouraging your viewers on youtube to create hive accounts and engage with you here as you probably know the benefits of that compared to youtube. I just wish people wouldn't attempt to maximize post rewards in the form of votetrading with others because it really makes it unfair to everyone else earning stake in the fair ways.

In case you're not aware of what I'm talking about:

Posting 1-2x per day for instance and selfvoting it gives you 100% of the rewards on those votes, 50% from curation and 50% from post rewards. That's all fine unless it becomes farmy or too many posts with low effort/quality.

But then we have some stakeholders who avoid selfvoting or posting 10x per day by instead votetrading with other same sized stakeholders. This is effectively the same as selfvoting 10x per day even though you only post once, your 9 other votes go to 9 other people who post once per day and they all give you a vote back.

It goes agaisnt curation to form these so called cliques because you remove yourself from the equation of having to use your votes for curation of new users or whatever you are consuming at that time and instead simply trade votes with others you may not even be interested in just because they're giving you a vote back.

A regular user may vote a couple times per day and give his other 8 votes to 4-30 different people that day for instance, this means the rewards he's getting from curation is 2x 100% and then 8x 50% adding his total inflation earned that day to around 60% of what his stake could pull from the rewardpool.

Votetraders make it a 100%.

Now of course everyone has friends who they like to support and vote and they also get some votes back but doing it consistently and constantly will only make the currency more centralized and retention of new users worse because they wouldn't be receiving any curation if everyone did it. You can see this happening on Steem where whales rule trending and no one else gets curation unless some steemit delegatees are doing it as their work. Curation and post rewards is not just meant to go to stakeholders who no matter what they post get max returns for it, there's the proof of brain aspect there where effort and quality is due and a diverse trending attempted to give everyone a fair shot at attention and consumers something new to follow and support, etc.

I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from so I'd appreciate some more diverse voting support assuming you have autovotes set up to those same authors consistently to maximize your returns from your daily posts. You can also trail curation accounts or other users you know are actively manually curating to make the platform better in terms of distribution, decentralization and retention of new users rather than try to maximize your stake income at the cost of the platform being worse or riding on the backs of others who don't do the same but grow slower because they value how curation works.

Sure @acidyo, I understand and will do that. Only one think I would like to add here is that, the new users who we plan to upvote most of the time take advantage of the currency and most of the time are not here in building their stake. There are many such examples. I have been building my stake here on HIVE and take your point and will not be self voting moving forwards and will make sure to distribute vote.

Best Regards

Selfvoting is fine but doing it as a strategic votetrading way gives you an advantage compared to everyone else who vote for distribution. For instance if we had the same stake and I'd spend 9 of my daily votes on other people and 1 on myself and say the average stake of those 9 people is 10k hp who would vote me back i'd still lose out on a lot of rewards if instead all I did was vote on 9 people who had around 300k hp and they all voted me back. Not to mention it would go to the same 9 people constantly.

What newbies do with their stake is not the issue, some may power it up, some may be intrigued by how well curation works that they may buy more while I agree that some only sell and look for more ways to sell or have abused the platform. It can't be helped but at least they were given a chance and stakeholders like us were growing equally fast respective to our stake earning from curation rewards rather than double the amount due to trading votes too often or selfvoting too much per day.

Appreciate you understanding and hope you can tell others the importance of this.

Sure will do. Cheers
