I had been looking for all the information associated to an item in dCity which is named as - Bag of SIM. Lets start with; the best place to buy Bag of SIM
As seen from the above image, there would be only 20K Bag of SIM items/NFT minted. 1 Bag of SIM cost you 20K SIM; which is the dCity in game currency. A player can also get trade Bag of SIM in internal market and if you are lucky you may land up buying cheap. But no need to trade it for higher than 20K SIM.
Currently, the price of Bag of SIM in internal market is 30K SIM. Hence its better to buy as opposed to trade in dCity internal market. Ever since, I came to know about what all we can do with Bag of SIM. I started having a desire to have one of this NFT. Considering the price 20K SIM that one need to shed, I thought lets see what advantages ones dCity get to having Bag of SIM. In order to understand the benefits of Bag of SIM we would need to dive into Data Centers
dCity Datacenter Buildings
There are three type of dCity Datacenter Buildings that one can create in their dCity. Which are as follows::
- HIVE Datacenter
- ETH Datacenter
- BTC Datacenter
Now in order to mint these data center cards you will need this item card - Bag of SIM. Along with other NFTs cards. Say for example you are looking to mint BTC Data Center then you will need the following cards to be combined; which can be depicted from the following image::
You can clearly, see I am following short of 1 Bag of SIM and 1 Warehouse card. Bag of SIM I can easily buy for 20K SIM. But the challenge is for Warehouse; which is a 3rd edition card with a rarity of 0.1% that makes it a very rare card to be minted. I tried my luck buying some 3rd edition cards but no luck and until I have Warehouse card, I cannot make/mint the Data Center cards.
Looking at the internal markets for the price of Warehouse card its insane and one would need to shed a couple of thousands of SIM to get one of this card. It would be better trying your chances while buying the cards as opposed to buying it from the internal market.
Finally, whether you choose to have - HIVE, ETH or BTC Datacenter you would require 1 Bag of SIM and 1 Warehouse card anyhow. These Data center building will give your dCity network points, which will be collected by holders and probably the limit of points is set to 1000. If you have the above cards for minting the Data center, then I would definitely recommend to create Data center for city and reap all the benefits; like network points that should give your dCity an upper hand as compared to other dCities here on the Hive Blockhain.... cheers..
