The life we’ve had made us meet at a time when none of us expected it, you know those moments when you meet someone and the first meeting was as weird as everything could get, yet with time you become to build a relationship you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you it was a folktale.
Who is a friend? I’d say it’s a person you can’t quite define our relationship, you look at each other immediately know what you’re thinking, and act on it. Everyone has friends they o out with, have fun and look for trouble with but there’s always that one friend or friend of yours you know will always come through for you no matter what. The real-life taking a bullet for someone.
The friends you meet through a fight become close after that, to a point where you can say you have a soldier or a friend beside you no matter the situation. These friends are the ones are called, life soldiers, funny huh? But these are also the kind of friends we get into heated arguments with.
You’ll fight and not talk for a while, you’ll completely ignore each other, then all of a sudden you see each other on a faithful day, and all it will take is one to say the other’s name and say something casual like look at those guys over there. Then boon you’re back on talking terms.

My friends met in funny moments, I had known @depressedfuckup , but not on a huge level, in our extended family, he’s my uncle 😉 so we knew each other to some extent, but everything changed we had admissions to study at the same university.
So I called @depressedfuckup , at that time I was in Accra so I asked him to look for a hostel for me to stay in as I wasn’t on campus yet. He did and after 3 weeks I made it to the campus. It was not like any experience I’d had before, the vast number of races and all kinds of personalities from different backgrounds.
The day I arrived at college, I immediately fell asleep to relieve the stress of going across the nation to Navrongo, where the school was located. I had a roommate at the time, but it wasn't my uncle @depressedfuckup 😅 , I easily got acquainted with my roomie but he left to another room which was empty leaving me with the room all to myself.
It was always enjoyable because my uncle was always there to hang out with me. Within a week, we had even begun to share a room, prepare meals together, and go to campus. And I easily got along with his friends too once he had introduced me to them; Hamza was studying biochemistry and I was reading computer science.
We had vacated for the first time and went back to our hometown; we practically were all over the place because wherever you would see @depressedfuckup I’d probably get be at the corner. We took our time in making preparations for the next semester.
We arrived at school and immediately began living our incredibly interesting life (and oh, @depressedfuckup is a terrible cook; he can only boil rice; anything else is a mess, until of course boiling water 😂).
We made it a point to have all the fun we could get because is very boring and all we do is learn all the time. There was a day our friend brought over his friend Maazin, and someway somehow, we got to be friends and that was that of another addition to the friend’s family.
We had become a big family, we were practically everywhere together, there were times it was all sunshine and there were times it was dawn with hunger, trust me, there were times we’d sleep with empty stomachs, times we’d have all we wanted to eat and have all we could get.
There were times we’d meet after a vacation to have fun and chill all we wanted, go swimming, eat at a fancy restaurant, and all that. Right now @depressedfuckup has graduated, so I’m left with Maazin, not like I don’t have other friends, but he’s my partner in crime.
