Welcome to Bask Bear!
Pleasant blue and orange theme. There was no other customers besides me and another delivery rider.
The very outstanding LED- lit wordings!
Loved to look at these colourful merchandise but they are too expensive to own.
Their cure orange coffee machine!
They have coffee with Aren sugar which is apparently palm sugar from Borneo. I think it is the same palm sugar I know from Sarawak, my hometown.
My Double Down Hash Brown
This was how much I paid.
So many things to choose from on the menu.
Sometimes on some days, I get to have lunch alone in between my classes so it becomes my me-time.
On this day, I needed to scout for the mattresss to replace the Queen-sized mattress in one of my rooms. Hence, I decide for convenience sake, I just dine nearby at which place I could get a parking for my car.
So I stopped and parked at..... Bask Bear!!!!
If my youngest son were to comeN he would be delighted because this shop has both his favourite colours - orange and blue!!! This shop has been here for a while but I haven't tried it till this day.
LOCATION: No.12, Ground Floor, Jalan 1/27b, Taman Desa Setapak, 53300 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur
The variety of the menu
It has a lot of sandwiches and toasts to choose from. However ai did not want to go for the bread, so I chose something sandwiched by 2 hasbbrowns instead - Double Down Hash Brown! It was something unusual so I thought maybe I could give it a try.
I saw they selling some different-flavoured muffins which I bought a Butterscotch-flavoured and a chocolate flavoured one for my sons.
They even have Kombucha which is gassy drink fermented from tea on their menu.
Shop Ambience
The whole shop is decorated with blue and orange. I especially like their LED- lit wordings spelling "Toastie" . They also sell all sorts of merchandise like some tumblers. So cool and cute but the price was rather expensive, oops! What was pretty and interesting to look at was even their coffee machine is orange in colour, wow!
Food Taste - Double Down Hash Brown
I It qas surprisingly nice. The hashbrowns made the food taste very flavourful. I kind of enjoyed it. I did not order any drink. One of my friends who tried their food taken away for her, said that it is a bit too oily and soggy if we takeaway the food. So I was fine with mine as I dined in.
The price of this Double Down costs me RM13.90. It is a bit higher than the usual food price I go for on a usual weekday but it is still not too bad. Most food have increased price anyway.
Will I come back for more?
Maybe I will come back again if there is a parking coincidental for me. The food is okay and maybe worth trying the other food on the menu.
