Sometimes they agree and look like a synchronized swimming team growing at the same pace. Other times, they leave when they feel like it or simply don't leave at all. That's what has happened in these two boxes.
This one turned out a bit chaotic. I had to repot a few that failed or didn't look good and broke down from the start. They look good even though it is winter. These are Jack Herer seeds that I made last year. This is the first time I have done a round with these seeds and you can tell they are new. I usually get better results if I wait a year to plant them. I don't know why.
Sometimes I have to dig a little bit to know if they are going to come out or not.
This box is the opposite of the other one. They popped their heads out the same day and have all grown at about the same rate. I like it better when they come out like this. It's more comfortable and if any of them fail, it's easy to see. I don't know what crosses they have. They are regular, photoperiodic and sativa, but I didn't write down the pedigree. They are seeds of seeds that I buy from time to time and I cross them. As I only buy sativa or sativa dominant, they are sativa for sure. They all look good and have a strong looking stem.
A seed that I put in too much without much hope that it would sprout has also come up. This will compensate for another one that looks like it will fail. It is having a hard time putting out the first leaves. We will see.
I wanted to know what day I started planting last year and Hive is wonderful for this. According to Hive, I started on March 16, you can see it in this post This year I started on February 11. More than a month earlier. I have never started the outdoor season so early and so far they have said it is not going to be cold around here.
Over the winter, I've been fighting my depressed mood of not being able to grow cannabis by planting some parsley, lavender, tobacco and carnations. But naaaaaa, it's not the same. Somewhat calms, yes, but it doesn't manage to give me that mood that growing cannabis gives me. It's a different story. Have a great day.
Espaรฑol
A mi me gusta mรกs que salgan asรญ.
