How I prefer to dress on weekends... I didn't see the topics on time cause of some issue that made me inactive but it's all good and I'm okay, I will like to share my experience.
Dressing is something we can't do without in our respective lives daily and with that, there are many fashion styles.
We have the formal dress style (mostly known as corporate), we have the casual dress style, chic dress style, vintage, street wears, preppy wears, artsy wears and many more. Among these, I love the casual dress code because it allows neat clothing without any visible damaged areas or ragged pattern. I love the chic fashion style because it's beautiful and elegant. I don't really fancy the street wears but I love the formal fashion style because that is what I'm mostly dressed on due to the nature of my job.
I work in a school as a secretary and as expected, I wear a shirt with a penciled skirt, I wear a blouse on a flay skirt or penciled skirt as deemed fit, at my place of work everyone has a dress code (both teaching and non teaching staff) to make us look unique and to also give the uniformity touch. My dresses are often office appropriate colors, conservative and professional. Simple dresses that are knee length, free from slacks and wrinks are also accepted. On our sports day we are allowed to wear the school approved t-shirts on a skirt with a sneaker, for some Fridays we wear Ankara native material or any good dress of your choice.
With all these dress styles and patterns, they can be really tiring and somehow inconveniencing. I don't know if they shouldn't be inconveniencing due to the fact that it is frequently worn but to me they are. Most times when I get back from work after taking my bath,I will put on something that feels free on me.
At weekends, in as much as I don't have anywhere to go or any functions to attend, I'll mostly be in a casual clothing. I wear sleeveless gowns or sleeveless tops on skirts or shorts, as long as there's a fair weather.
In a situation where the weather is cold, I put on Cardigan or thick long sleeved clothes and something long enough to cover my legs to prevent the cold. On Sundays I put on my choir uniform when I'm ministering in the choir but if I'm not in the choir I'll wear something that isn't exposing and decent enough.
How I prefer to dress on weekends is on casual clothing that feels free on me.
