Bloody Samaritan is a song by Ayraa star, a young female Nigerian artist in the Mavins group, headed by Don Jazzy a legendary Nigerian hip-hop/afrobeat producer. He signed the likes of Remain, Ayraa Star, Korede Bello and the likes, this post is not about Don Jazzy, so let me proceed.
Ayraa star is one the Nigerian artist I really like cause I feel she brings something else to the table, other than love and money like most of them do. This song Bloody Samaritan personally puts me in a better mood, whenever I feel like the people around me killing my vibes, that's how we say it when the atmosphere is just too boring.
I specifically like the part where she said "protect my energy from your bad aura", you know some people can be kill joy if you understand that, so it's just saying I'm gonna be in a good mood regardless of my environment and i won't let anyone put me down mentally, that's how we keep the energy high.
Also get on your knees and pray till you regain your faith this shows that she believes in prayers, it's funny how most times we think this popular artist don't care about God bla bla, from their musics we can tell that most of them believe in the supernatural and they mostly start their careers from church. In a nutshell when the ships are down remember to pray and keep your faith high cause all hope is not lost.
