Hello, dear friends from the #WeekendExperiences community. I join again in this #Weekend-Engagement initiative.
I choose the topic about gold and silver. Why? Well, I have 2 gold earrings that even if they're not rare pieces, for me would fall into the unusual, as each came from different people. I remember as a teenager when I was about 13 years old, a friend gave me one as a gift with the idea that I would always have it with me and value it. This earring has a hook shape at the tip where it is secured.
The second earring my mom told me that I have it for a long time. I can't say how long, my godmother gave it to me, I guess I had the pair and at some point in my childhood and I lost one. I know it is a little bigger than the first one and the tip where it is secured is flat.
I think they were a piece with history, since they have been with me since I was a little girl and now they belong to my little baby who is currently 5 months old.
I find them more comfortable to wear, besides I have always thought that girls should wear jewelry that do not have great volume and these are very small and in the form of earrings.
When my daughter was born my partner and I took her to get the famous openers, which are shaped like little nails and are placed with a pressure gun, I think it was more the pain that I felt and the nerves ha, ha, ha. My baby cried for only a few seconds, I was surprised.
In her second month of age I took her for her shots and the nurse accidentally removed a tendril. I had not wanted to remove these because I was afraid of hurting her, but because I had been left with the incomplete pair, I put the gold earrings on her that I had taken off when I went to give birth.
Now these are my little princess's and I hope they last her a long time as they do me.
So guys this is my story of two earrings from different origins with a great value for me.
