The gates to Conquest mode in Golem Overlord were opened again today and this week my goal is to get a good ranking to receive at least 1 Yixn's Trinket II as a prize. For those who don't know how this game mode works in Golem Overlord, you can find out more by reading my post: How to Make Money in Conquest Mode in Golem Overlord where I explain how you can profit in this mode without spending anything, just by having an account in the game.
In the post I don't talk about strategies to win in Conquest mode, that's because I'm still learning so I don't know what would be the best way for you to achieve victory, but I will show you one of the strategies that I use and like a lot.
It's a simple strategy and you will need to focus on only 2 types of units, which are the units that have the Order of the Vanguard and the Order of the Celestial.
In my opinion, these are two very strong bonuses in the game, especially when they are at maximum level and I say this from my own experience because I can win most battles with them, but the battle does not only depend on the bonuses but also on the Golems, the Advisor and the position in which you use the Golems.
Sometimes it is not possible to use these two bonuses at maximum level because it will depend on the limit of Golems that you can use that give you these bonuses. In the example above, you can see that in this battle I can use up to 6 Golems from the Order of the Vanguard and 6 Golems from the Order of the Celestial. Whenever the battle allows me to use 6 Golems that give these bonuses, I always select 6 Golems that give these bonuses, remembering that each Golem belongs to 2 orders and you can only use 6 Golems per battle.
As you can see in this battle, I have the maximum bonus from the Order of the Vanguard and the maximum bonus from the Order of the Celestial. I also selected Advisor Naia the Lifebringer who will grant +2 stacks of regeneration.
All the Golems I used are Tanks, I like to use them because they have a lot of life and with the help of the Order of the Vanguard and Order of the Celestial bonuses, they take a long time to be defeated and I believe they are the best combination for these 2 bonuses.
It was not difficult to achieve victory and even though I caused less damage than my opponent I was still able to win thanks to the large amount of life, shield and regeneration I had in the battle.
This +0.67 that appears on the screen is the amount of ANIMA token I earned in the battle, I explain about this in the post I mentioned earlier and with each battle the player wins he receives an amount of ANIMA based on his current league, I am still in the Bronze league so the amount I earn is low. ANIMA is a tradable token and you can sell it on Hive Engine, Tribaldex or Beeswap, you can also save it because it will be useful in the future.
Conquest mode runs from Friday to Sunday and during this time there is a leaderboard that will grant you prizes and it is reset every week, my goal will be to achieve a good ranking and see what prizes I can get.
