EDITORIAL
HiQ №33 is done and even though we always feel smart, stylish and sexy, we must have aged thirty-three years in the last 3 weeks. We will still be aging at least 33 years more. LOOL
Even though we have the longest, our to-do is currently even longer. But of course, what doesn't break us down will only make us stronger. By the way, who is also a strong personality is our "Most Valued Poster". (Editor's note: You can find more information on the insert aka in the MVP article below.)
Our grind is due in part to the fact that we went on a gigantic RL CraftInk binge. Rumour has it that this was a major inspiration for the next chapter of CraftInk lore from @smooms. Will this chapter be repeated in the next RL CraftInk match?
Who would have thought that we are more and more about RL. We want to produce another RL edition of HiQ for the HiveFest. Whether we will also age by 33 years, you can only read in this issue. (Spoiler: We will age at least 69 years).
Of course, cellar-like activities should not be missing in this issue. Therefore, we dedicated ourselves to the latest overcore game "Mole Miner". To become game-ready, even @quekery has aged 33 years. To spare you risks and side effects, there is a stylish guide in this issue.
And for the football or soccer fans among you, we'll also chat out of the GLS box. Should you fomo in GLS packs or rather join soccer sweepstakes like Kicktipp or Hivebuzz to have even more assets to fomo even more in packs? We are not giving investment advice here, of course. (Editor's note: Logically, you should also fomo in CraftInk packs. LOOL)
Of course, we know many more ways for you to save money and buy more INKCEO. Hive Thrifted is the opportunity for you to clear out your DACH floor and get new HIVE. Of course, you could also use these HIVE to treat yourself (Editor's note: or us [LOOL]) to a HiveFest appearance....
... or you could invest in new grow equipment and make a post in the Weedcash community. (Editor's note: To have more money for us. LOOL) What it's all about, you'll find out for sure somewhere in this issue. (Editor's note: Wynaut!) Even though we have the longest... Even if we have the longest package insert aka post of the Chain, we don't guarantee for your health or your police record. Also, we advise you not to post upgrades of these at Weedcash. LOOL
And to make our complete disintegration even more disintegrating, we have another bulging issue of "Hivestyle for Hivians" for you. Also included, of course, are Gossip and the letters to the editor, even if these are more within the holy trinity. And 3 is a nice number, after all. (Editor's note: But 33 is twice as good. LOOL) Spontaneously, we would even think of 3 reasons to be in the ...
... Commentary Discount Sale 2/4. With a discount of 30% on the current HIVE price of HIQS (Editor's note: 0.357 SWAP.HIVE). That means you can buy up to 270 HIQS for the price of 0.25 SWAP.HIVE per HIQS. Write the following
´´´!HIQS HereYourDesiredAmount´´´
in the comments. After 2 days, we will publish a post at @hiq.shares handling the sale. By the way, if the demand is high enough, we will increase the amount of HIQS to 540 HIQS, so that English-speaking and German-speaking readers can get their HIQS. We've done that before from time to time, but hardly anyone noticed. LOOL

➀ HiQs MVP
This month's cover girl is up for any snapshot and she sees the world not only through her own eyes. You can only find out who we're talking about here.
@melinda010100 has been Hivian since day 1 and her blog is all about photography. Perhaps all of you who follow photography communities on Hive have already seen one or two of her posts. But that's not all. Our Paparazi Hivian from Wisconsin, is not just in the photography world.
Even though this is also about photography - she is also a Shadow Hunter. Because everyone knows that where there is light, there is also shadow. According to her profile description ("Shadow Hunters and Feathered Friends"), she also has a heart for feathered friends, which of course makes us crazy birds from the HiQ happy - surely she has a heart for us too.
At the Ecency Meetups on the Ecency Discord Server, powered and moderated by @tengolotodo, she is always at the forefront as a moderator and performs her role as an Ecency Team Member excellently (Editor's note: THE community supporter of hearts.) - a Swiss Pocket Hivian, so to speak.
We at HiQ - The Hivestyle Magazine wish her all the best and continued success on the blockchain we all love so much. ★

➁ THE Column
Everything has an end. The last physical HiQ issue has two. Today @smooms shows you his journey to HiQ - the road was long and rocky, but read for yourself.
Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody told you it was a happy tale, if somebody said I was just your average guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied. But let me assure you, this, like any other story worth telling, is all about a Blockchain. The Blockchain next door. Steem. The Blockchain I already posted on since before I even liked Blockchains.
Back then, one of my friends from the early past got me onto the Steem Blockchain. There he taught me everything he knew. However, he was not a programmer like me. So at first, the technical aspect of Steem remained hidden from me. But in the days of vote-buying bots, I realised how easy it was to write programmes for the blockchain. I started programming a giveaway bot in JavaScript to raise my profile on Steem.
But as my mentor said to me back then: With great stake comes great responsibility!
For it came as it had to come. My posts were flagged for votefarming by whales who earned their big stake through the very techniques they were now demonising. No matter. There's nothing you can do about it. I'm just the friendly @smooms from the neighbourhood and have to see what I do and limit the damage.
Next chapter - I have to find something new to earn a living on Steem. Then came dLive. A German community guy from dLive quickly attached himself to me and I got really good upvotes. This led me into the DACH community and onto their Discord, where I met all sorts of weird characters. One of these characters was @quekery, one of the co-founders of STEEMillu at the time. However, I didn't know at the time that STEEMillu would change my life forever.
I am very good at editing pictures and it was exactly this skill that @quekery was looking for for the STEEMillu. However, I declined and another year went by. However, I continued to do my thing, continued to programme bots that were supposed to make my life easier in some Steem-supported games.
But this paradise also came to an end at some point. I don't want to go into it too much, but then @alucian came along. He brought the STEEMillu team together in such a way that it worked. I joined the core team as a "designer" and a glorious time of magazine publications began.
But these times were also about to change. A dubious Chinese, whom we affectionately call the "Steemy" or "Custom Justin", threatened to turn the once decentralised playground called Steem into a place of oppression and censorship. We reported on this once. But resourceful Steemians got together to take what was good about Steem and build a much better blockchain on top of it. This blockchain was given the name "Hive".
Running a magazine on the Hive Blockchain called STEEMillu didn't feel right to us (Note from @mary-me: LOOL) and so we looked for an alternative. It was clear that something new and cool was needed. Something stylish. So I dug out all kinds of lifestyle magazines that were available in real life, and "fresher, superior, odder" became "smart, stylish and sexy". STEEMillu became HiQ.
Here we are - 33 issues later. Almost since the beginning of HiQ, @mary-me has also been involved as a German editor. We have presented at two HiveFests (a third is planned) and produced a special physical edition of HiQ for HiveFest. What comes next from now on is uncertain, but....
... whatever lies ahead for me on the blockchain, I will never forget these words, "With great stake comes great responsibility!" This is my gift, my Hivestyle Magazine! Who am I? I am @smooms! ★

➂ COVER STORY
The next chapter in the story of the World Championship Tournament is about to begin. In this issue only, we will provide you with the eagerly awaited sequel. You can read what happens next here.
What has happened so far:
The challenge to @blue.rabbit was issued. A single round was to decide who would emerge victorious. Both players took their positions and the initial round of dice decided who should start. As @bubblegif won this, she decided that @blue.rabbit should start and the game began. Who will emerge as the winner of this game? The blue rabbit with the distinctive Swiss dialect? Or will it be the smart Austrian with the heart of ink on her side? We find out all this in...
Chapter 3:
@blue.rabbit studied the 5 cards of his starting hand for a long time. Too long for @bubblegif's taste. "Well, what's the matter? Don't you know your cards or what?" She laughed in his direction. @blue.rabbit ignored her comment. He threw 2 Fillinks from his hand into the archive and played a character. It was the E-Girl. Actually, this play would have cost him 3 Fillink, but since to all appearances he only had yellow Fillink in his deck, this summon was cheaper by one Fillink. A powerful card. "Then I'll play one more card face down", he said after making another Fillink card disappear into the Archive. His hand was thus empty. "Your turn, odr?"
@bubblegif drew a card, which can be an extreme advantage if you don't start first. The card she drew was mary-me. Having the Officer in your hand right in the first round is lucky. In many games, the rounds were so short that an Officer wasn't even drawn. She could have played it already. She had 3 white Fillink in her hand, mary-me, a Hive Whale and a HiQalibur. She decided to play the Hive Whale. She kept the other cards in her hand. A defensive tactic. If she had played HiQalibur face down, she would have had too little Fillink the turn after to be able to play the Officer. Clever. She finished her turn and @blue.rabbit was back on.
He drew a card from his deck. It was not a Fillink and because he had no Fillink in his hand after the Draw Phase, he was allowed to take a Fillink card from his Archive. "Let's see about getting more hand cards then, odr?" he said with a grin on his face. He immediately threw the Fillink card he had just retrieved from the Archive back into the Archive and played a card face up. It was the Juiceoid. "With this card, I am allowed to draw two cards from my deck, odr?" He drew two more cards and the Juiceoid ended up in the Archive as well.
He seemed satisfied, for his grin grew wider. He threw another Fillink card into the Archive and played another character. This time it was the Crypto Hacker, which with its 1 Fillink cost and 2 dice in attack, was a very strong card. "Time for an attack, odr? I attack your Hive Whale with my E-Girl." 2 dice against one dice. That was a tough one to win.
Both rolled the dice. @blue.rabbit rolled a 5 and a 2. There was no way @bubblegif could beat that number with just one die. Nevertheless, she rolled the die. It landed on 6. "That makes the Hive Whale history, odr," @blue.rabbit blurted out with excitement. @bubblegif was visibly unimpressed, as the round had only just begun.
On a huge monitor, not far from the battle between @bubblegif and @blue.rabbit, the CIBS News was now being broadcast. The news anchor had long hair and magnificent eyebrows. With a soft voice he began the moderation.
"Welcome to CIBS News. Reports of a shadowy figure in Inkopolis are mounting. According to witnesses, a black hooded figure is challenging tournament players all over Inkopolis and playing them into the ground. Many of these players seem to have disappeared without a trace afterwards. The IPD cannot and will not yet confirm whether the disappearance of the tournament participants is connected to the mysterious hooded figure. The IPD is asking for information about the mysterious person. So if you are challenged by a mysterious hooded person, report immediately to a police officer of the IPD, who are now increasingly on patrol in Inkopolis. We at CIBS think it's a shame that such a magnificent event as the CraftInk World Championship Tournament is being shown in the wrong light by something like this. I am @solymi from CIBS News and I pass on to my colleagues with the weather...
The weather in Inkopolis continues to be mild throughout the day and no rain is expected. Tomorrow morning..."
The game between @bubblegif and @blue.rabbit was even. Both gave each other nothing and the score was now 14 to 14. The next point would decide the winner. On the side of @blue.rabbit was only the CEO "prinzvalium". It was @bubblegif's turn. But her side of the field was empty. She still had mary-me in her hand and 2 fillinks of the same colour. If she didn't draw anything clever in the next round, she would lose. She drew a card from her deck. She drew a React card, which she placed directly on the field, ending her turn. @blue.rabbit laughed in her face. "You can't defend yourself without a character, can you?" he tried to tease her and draw her out. But @bubblegif remained as nonchalant as ever. @blue.rabbit drew a card. Apparently it was a Fillink, because it was the only card he now had in his hand. He now began his Battle Phase. "I attack with prinzvalium, right?" - "Stop," said @bubblegif, revealing the Officer Clip. "With this card, I get to Special Summon an Officer directly from my hand to the field. So it's Officer vs Officer." They both took 3 dice in their hands and rolled. @blue.rabbit rolled a 5, a 2 and another 5. 12 total. @bubblegif took her three dice firmly in hand, summoned the Heart of Ink once more and rolled...
A 5, a 3 and a 2. Was that the end of her? "Hold on. I activate my officer's effect. Each blogger on my side of the field gets +1 to the result of each die. Thus I am at 13 and your prinzvalium is defeated. I get the point. You lose, bunny. Lässig." Indeed. @bubblegif won the round 15-14. @blue.rabbit was seething with anger. "That was just luck, odr?" - "With the heart of ink on my side, I don't need luck." So the dream of challenging the top 4 was within reach.
While @bubblegif was giving her dog the cuddle and celebrating her victory, she didn't notice a dark hooded figure approaching her. He reached out to her and the next moment his hand was on her shoulder. She was almost scared to death.
What is this figure? Is this person the reason for the tournament participants disappearing? Is @bubblegif the next one? What will happen to her dream of playing against the top 4? Find out all this and much more in the next chapter of the CraftInk Story "CraftInk - The CraftInk Championship Tournament". ★
➃ COVER STORY
The last HiveFest showed that a physical HiQ edition goes down well with the Hive community. What we're going to come up with this year, you can read about here.
Another year has gone by and HiQ has certainly grown in readership during this time. So it stands to reason that we will also produce a physical edition for the new HiveFest8. This time, however, it's also because we were asked to do so.
The planning for the edition has been in full swing for a few weeks now and some potential advertisers have already been contacted. But more about that later. The upcoming HiveFest will take place in Mexico. In Rosarito, to be exact, and the editors @quekery and @smooms have already ironed their ponchos and unpacked their sombreros and are ready for tequila on the beach. (Editor's note: Maybe not the latter. And the first and second may not be so real either, but only symbolic. LOOL) The tickets for HiveFest are already bought, so there's no turning back.
This time our raging editor, @mary-me, will NOT be going, which might encourage @quekery and @smooms to go camping again, but we think the likelihood of that is 0%. Camping sounds really cool, but in reality it really sucks. (Note from @quekery: In my defence however, I must also note in a note that the weather was terrible. LOOL) So now we have to take care of the accommodation and the journey. More on that later, too. LOOL
HiveFest8 - Ola Surfista
Of course, we don't want to leave you without facts about the upcoming HiveFest. Of course, we have already done a lot of research on the festival and know everything there is to know about THE event in 2023.
Like last year, the entrance fees will be staggered. First of all, they depend on the stake of the users. The bigger the stake, the more expensive the ticket will be for you. (Editor's note: This is not an obligation, however. For the sake of fairness, however, many Hivians do this so that the HiveFest remains financially viable.)
Like last year, the prices are staggered as follows:
Regular | Silver | Gold | Platinum | Ithildin |
---|---|---|---|---|
$ 485.00 | $ 599.00 | $ 699.00 | $ 849.00 | $ 999.00 |
Ticket prices increase every month as the event approaches. On 1 September, a standard ticket will cost $ 900, so you should get your ticket as early as possible. The "cheap" ticket prices are made possible thanks to a generous grant from @valueplan.
What we want to present at HF
We also want to visit the HiveFest. Last year we had a lot of fun and were happy to meet so many people from the Hive community in person. Also, bridging the distance to some users through such an event makes it even more palatable. The icing on the cake is of course that we can present you the hottest shit from the HiQuarters forge.
This hive shit will be nothing less than CraftInk. For the first time we will be reporting officially and first person from CraftInk. We plan to have the mini-game "CiM" ready by then, so that the users at the HiveFest will have something to try out right away. But that's not all, because just like last year, we are also producing a...
Physical HiQ issue
Since the last edition was really well received and we were asked whether there will be an official HiveFest HiQ again this year, and of course we can't let our most loyal fans down, there will be a physical HiQ edition again at this HiveFest. We hope that @roelandp has already contacted various parcel stations to be able to receive the package last minute again this year. (Editor's note: Sorry again for that. LOOL)
The production of the issue is already in full swing and the contact with this year's HiveFest organisers has also been established, so that this year the printing of the magazines can be done on site so that there will be no delivery problems or unnecessary delays. But there is one thing that should not be missed here either. Even though it is the last thing in the article, it is no less important.
Advertising in the physical edition
Because this year you can also promote yourself or your project in the physical HiQ. We have already written a post about this and all the important information can be found there.
Here however, is an overview of the price scale:
AD SPACE SIZE | PRICE UNTIL AUGUST 13th | PRICE UNTIL AUGUST 29th | LAST MINUTE PRICE |
---|---|---|---|
1/4 Page | 70 HBD | 75 HBD | 90 HBD |
1/2 Page | 115 HBD | 125 HBD | 150 HBD |
1 Page | 235 HBD | 250 HBD | 285 HBD |
For information on dimensions and other details, please refer to the post we have created for this very purpose. You can reach it here. But you should hurry up with the booking of advertising space, because the more time you let pass, the more expensive the advertising space will become. (Editor's note: I wonder where we got this idea. LOOL)
Donor Tiers
A print edition for HiveFest is expensive and a lot of work. With the advertising space we sold last year, it didn't cover the costs, but it came close. @shaka had suggested that we accept additional donations and highlight the donors in the print edition. That's why (Editor's note: And because we need money. LOOL) we're doing it again this year. But we've pimped the idea a bit. You can donate something to us for the print issue+hivefest appearance and achieve a unique HiQ Donor Tier. Depending on the amount of your donation, you can reach the following Tiers:
smart | stylish | sexy | HiQish |
---|---|---|---|
10-42 HBD | 43-420 HBD | 421-690 HBD | >690 HBD |
Yes, we know, the names of the Tiers are smart, stylish and sexy. (Editor's note: And maybe also a little HiQish.) If you have any special offers for us, just get in touch. As a rule, we are very easy to take care of. If we raise enough money, we might even be able to pay expenses for editors of the print edition this time. (Editor's note: One can still dream).
Giveaway
And if your wallet is too small (Editor's note: Yes, it's not just our wallet that's small.), you can win an advertising space for you or your project, just like last year. We will give you a 1/4 page. Write us what topic you would like to see in the upcoming print issue in the comments and tag 2 other Hivestylers. The deadline is the end of the countdown.
We will continue to work on the print edition, CiM and the travel preparations. (Editor's note: And the posts we usually do as well: Editorial Posts, Smartcasts, Digital HiQs etc..) See you or hear from you soon. (Editor's note: And don't work out so much with tequila. LOOL) ★

➄ GAMES
Overcore-Likes flip like Mutees from booster packs. We took a close look at the latest Overcore-Like from Muterra and tell you how you can get started without fraying your nerves.
It wasn't so long ago that @blackheart from @muterra sponsored a few prizes for a giveaway. So that you don't have to wait so long for Muterra, there is now a mini-game from the pen of Blackheart: Mole Miner. (Editor's note: The idea is somehow familiar to us. LOOL)
Similar to Golem Overlord, Mole Miner is a Terracore-Like. Perhaps we should have a new genre: Overcore-Like. (Editor's note: or Terralord LOOL) In any case, those who know the basic mechanics of Terracore will feel right at home here.
You mine MUT with your mining rate, raise the capacity limit of your mining site, attack with stealing skill and defend yourself with fortification. (Editor's note: So many terms that you know as an overcore pro, of course.) Collect in turn claims your mined MUT so you can't be robbed.
But before you can even start playing, you need to do some preparation. It's a bit confusing and @quekery was on the verge of raging. (Editor's note: A feeling that is actually foreign to him. LOOL) That's why we'll help you get started quickly.
First of all, you need a Tamer License. This costs 10 HBD and is currently 50% off. You can buy it in the Muterra Shop or on the Mole Miner Page. (Editor's note: Do not log in to both sites at the same time, otherwise you will be logged out all the time.)
You will also need a Tamer. (Note from @quekery: Fortunately I already had 3 Tamers. For the license I raided the HiQ cash box. LOOL) If you don't have a Tamer, you can buy one in the store or browse the Market. Make sure that your Tamer has a lot of Stamina, which you need for Mole Miner. You should also have some MUT so that you can upgrade into Mole Miner. So around $ 20 is what you need to spend if you don't already have Muterra assets.
@quekery has chosen Jade. However, he didn't know that Stamina is an important value for the tamer choice. Since he only has Manav and Tanya, Jade was not a mistake. To use your Tamer in Mole Miner, go to your inventory on the Muterra Main Page and click on Tamer.
Click on the tamer of your choice and activate it. In the same menu you will now find the tamer under the heading Active Tamer.
There you have to select the tamer again and make it ready for Mole Miner by clicking the deposit button. Now log in to Mole Miner and select your Tamer on the left.
Now your game should be ready. And always keep in mind: You can't be logged in to the Mole Miner site and the Muterra site at the same time. So be prepared for multiple logins, LOOL. Anyway, we did it and if you have MUT now, you can start leveling right away.
We spent about 20 MUT to upgrade a bit. (Editor's note: Of course we don't have a strategy yet. LOOL) With Cost Chart you can see how the upgrade costs are distributed. If you want to collect your mined MUT, it will cost you 10 Stamina.
As befits an Overcore-Like, you can of course rob other players if they have MUT that they haven't collected yet. Note that your stealing skill must be higher than your opponent's fortification level. Stealing also costs you 10 Stamina per steal. (Editor's note: In the table above you can see the rate at which your Stamina regenerates.) Your standard steal chance is between 0% and 80%. You can increase this by buying crates. For example, @quekery's chance is currently between 0.04% and 80.04%, while the maximum chance can be between 50% and 100%.
Currently, Mole Miner is indeed a Muterra minigame. But Blackheart is also planning updates. For example, the mining rate is to be increased by at least a factor of 10. Also additions like a log and leaderboard are planned. We are curious to see how the game will develop. You can read more details about the game in the Mole Miner announcement post. ★

➅ GAMES
Rabona was yesterday. Genesis League Sports is coming around the corner with its new milestone. You can only find out how this is going for them and the users in our Game News for Blockchain Gamers.
Something is also happening at Genesis League Sport. The people who bought 100 packs or more in advance could now sign up for the open beta version and then also test it.
Genesis League is a NFT cards based soccer manager game, where you can buy packs, each with 5 NFT cards inside. The playing cards are real professional soccer players from the MLS. (Editor's note: MLS is the premier American soccer league.) Fun fact: Messi has been playing in MLS with Inter Miami since this summer.
In the game you can draw several types of cards to create a complete team. For this you need the following types of cards: Coach, Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder and Attacker. Of all the cards, there will be 2 variants: regular and gold, gold being, of course, the significantly more expensive cards.
But in case you still don't know what to expect, here's a little snippet. Once you've bought some packs and you're ready to create a team, all you have to do is go to the Team tab at the top. There you can also give your team a name. After that you have to set up your starting team, for that you will need:
1 coach
1 goalkeeper
2 defenders
2 midfielders
2 attackers
In addition, you can select 5 substitutes and 10 reserves. Again, you have to see which cards are best suited. Because each card has its weaknesses and strengths. We recommend: Do not put an attacker in the goal. LOOL
Once you have done all this and you have chosen your team, you can test the game with the beta access. All you have to do is choose whether you want to play a training game against the computer or against another real player. Then you go to Competition and, once you have found an opponent, you can start the game.
A game runs for a certain number of minutes. (Editor's note: We don't know exactly how long it lasts. LOOL) During that time, you can substitute injured or exhausted players. This is explained in this guide.
Since last week more information about cards has been added. For example, GLS has defined and published the skills of the trainers, which you can read in the current GLS post.
So, even if the presale is over, you can still get cards, because they are still available for purchase at various markets. Get some cards fast before the game starts. You don't want to be left behind. (Editor's note: But of course this is not an investment recommendation. LOOL) ★

Are you thrifty? Do you want to make some HIVE or HBD? Then why not sell you pre-loved items to other Hivians. We seek out the most stylish and smartish way to be thrifty on Hive.
If you are looking to buy some Hive merchandise with your Hive or HBD then of course you wander down to @hive-shop and visit their Hive Shop like any good Hivian. But If you want to spend your Hive/HBD on something other than Hive merchandise then "Hive Thrifted - Your Hive/HBD Pre-loved Bargain Store" is your place to visit.
Infact if you have been decluttering or having a clear out or just want to raise some HIVE or HBD then Hive Thrifted may be your answer! Hive Thrifted is the brainchild of @lizelle who created the Hive Thrifted community. She is ably supported by @coquicoin and @mondoshawan who you might all know from Silver Bloggers fame, so it is safe to say that there is a fair amount of wisdom involved and they know what they are doing, well in theory they should know what they are doing. LOOL
Declutter and earn Hive or HBD by selling pre-loved goods gathering dust in your attic/closet is the USP for the community.
The Hive Thrifted Community gives you the opportunity to earn HBD (or Hive) by selling those pre-loved goods gathering dust in your attic/closet.
So what do you need to do?
First things first and unless you are a man and don't read instructions LOOL then you need to read the informative What to do post.
If you are looking to buy something, then browse the posts in the Community.
If you are looking to sell somthing then you need to do the following:
- Subscribe to HIVE THRIFTED COMMUNITY.
- Take clear photos of your product - on a neutral background.
- You must include at least 1 photo of the product. In front of the item, you must place handwritten a note stating 'Hive Thrifted, your Hive name & the date'. This cannot be photoshopped or electronically added to your photo!
- Optional - Think of a name for your Hive Thrifted 'shop', and use that as a tag so regular buyers can easily find your products.
- Write a post listing your pre-loved goods – vintage or contemporary.
Prices should preferably be listed in HBD (it's more stable & more liquid). The buyer can transfer this to your Hive wallet. You can negotiate costs in Hive or Hive Engine tokens with buyers, it really is up to you.
The big hindrance to the idea is shipping or mailing or postage costs and times depending what you all it in your country. However, the first sale was a transaction that was between USA and UK, and it was speedy, so country to country can work!
@silversaver888 listed these beautiful Pearl Earrings in her for sale post and then updated the post to reflect the sale after they had been purchased by shanibeer who told us about the whole process.
It works, so what are you waiting for? We know you have items that you could sell for HIVE/HBD. Maybe this could pay for your HiveFest ticket! (Editor's Note: Or pay for HiQ flight tickets. LOOL) ★

Also at the HiQ, the Hivestyle Press, the consumption of herbs is high. That we are friends of flavored sports cigarettes is no secret. For all other friends we have the right community.
Here we not only plant, but also steam and reveal the craziest taste explosions of homegrown plants. Only here people with and without green thumb find the most valuable insider tips.
This time we were really brave and went into the labyrinth of hive growers, namely the Weedcash Network Community. Since we read a lot (Editor's note: paper is rolled to inhale the book. LOOL), it was clear to us that we would go in search of the awesome combustible material for you.
Attracted like moths by wacky LED lights (Editor's note: when flying through Hive in moth mode) that instantly create party flair, we were also completely befuddled by the scent of giant buds. LOOL
So in the Stoned Hive flight we came right upon the WEED token and the EOSIO token for cannabis and psychedelic lovers, both of which can be collected in the Weedcash Network community with diligent posting.
WEED, which got high with the SCOT bot and is befuddling the Hive community with its own Weedcash Outpost, is ready for your cannabis and psychedelic posting content. (Editor's note: WEED is the first token to become a Tribe. Almost like a social club. LOOL)
And that's not all, you can even buy WEED, the coveted WeedCash branded CBD products, cannabis flower and smoking accessories at weedcash.store. (Editor's note: Which we couldn't find, but as a substitute we found the Weedcash HiveList Store. But there you can't pay with WEED. LOOL) In addition, you can spend WEED at WEED festivals in dCity and earn WEED at WEED farms to collect and stake really intoxicating WEED again. That sounds really extremely weedy, don't you think? (Editor's note: We are already stoned from all the WEED writing and reading. LOOL)
So this community gives you a lot of opportunities to put your magical experiences on the blockchain. What kind of plants have you grown and have you had any problems doing so? How did your first homegrown weed taste or what was your best weed?
You can report all this in the WeedCash Network Community. A green thumb and a mind-expanding nature pay off here. (Editor's note: And if someone writes !hiqvote under your posts, even @hiq.weed will come crawling out of his social club. LOOL) ★
You also want to be part of the hard-fought leaderboard of HiQ - The Hivestyle Magazine? Then stake HIQS for all it's worth. The 10 highest stakers will be determined anew in each issue via snapshot and then immortalized here. If you want advertising space in the HiQ, then stake yourself in the top 5 and send us a banner in the format 728x90. You can send us the banner via Discord or by mail to hiq.redaktion@protonmail.com. ★

➈ HIVESTYLE
It's time again for a round of Web3 gossip with a pinch of Web2. Of course we shame Web2 at every opportunity. Despite the summer slump and the Bear Market, we have filled this category again.
Wen Lambo!
Everybody wants Lambos, rally cars etc.. In addition to rally cars with Hive advertising, THE Racing Car with HiQ logo and @craftink lettering on the rear is also making various (digital) tracks unsafe. @laro-racing is not only making waves on 3Speak with this stylish projectile - under this link you can find all the channels of the racing newcomers. If you want to support our "Lambo", leave a few votes, follows, reblogs, views, comments and anything else you can think of. (Editor's note: Hopefully the HiQ logo won't distort when @bubblegif and @gruu are driving in block-signing speed. LOOL)
XxT
Was 25.07.2023 the 1st of April? No? But maybe it was, if @leofinance has its way. Since then, @leofinance's Twitter account has been called T. Why? Only the Thread gods probably know. What will happen next with T? Will T get a proposal? What will become of X? And will Elon Musk soon be kidnapped and have a T tattooed on him?
Low Effort Posts
You know those crap giveaway posts in your feed? Yes, people often complain about these posts and they have also been flagged frequently since the beginning of the block. And we too have noticed that there are some Rising Star posts among them. Coincidence? But Rising Star now wants to take action against these posts. So guys, bring more quality to your giveaway shit posts. LOOL ★

➉ HIVESTYLE
This issue is once again packed with the Hive blockchain's hottest shit. Even though it might not seem like it, HfH in particular is a lot of work. So sit back and enjoy!
New UI for one of the cheapest swap bridges
For a long time @uswap was the cheapest swap bridge on Hive. Now Uswap has a new UI and also a new URL. According to Uswap, they now charge a fee of no more than 0.5% to swap from HIVE to SWAP.HIVE or in the other direction. However, the "fee" is now dynamic between -0.5% and +0.5%, depending on which side of the bridge the liquidity is higher. In any case, we will always look at Uswap first before we swap.
Easy Onboarding
Do you remember when there were hardly any account creation tickets left in 2021/2022 because of the Splinterlands hype? What to do when there are no more tickets? Besides creating accounts via resource credits, there is also the possibility to pay for accounts. With @discover-hive, WOO's resourceful programmer @tobias-g has developed a new way to facilitate the onboarding process for completely new and non-crypto users. Discover Hive offers a ref system as well as the possibility to pay with fiat. An account currently costs $ 2.45. You can find more information in the announcement post of Discover Hive.
WOO Airdrop
WOO Land Owners take note! From 01.08. to 31.08.2023 you will receive a daily WOO Airdrop for every WOO Land NFT you hold. The amount depends on the quality of the NFT.
More information can be found in the WOO Airdrop Announcement post by @wrestorgonline.
Hive Tools
We have pointed this out before. @bambuhka has created some useful Hive tools and updates them regularly. From a PHP Lib to a Multistaker to a Token Distribution Tool, everything is there. (Editor's note: That's not all. We were too lazy to list all the tools. LOOL) If you have any wishes or suggestions for improvement, @bambuhka can certainly help you.
Freechain Movie
@lordbutterfly brings us new info on the Freechain Movie. This time there is a new teaser. If you want to see the whole documentary, you'll have to wait until Hivefest in September.
Leo Proposal
@leofinance has created a proposal. The purpose of the Leofinance Proposal is to onboard new people. A daily sum of 495 HBD is to be distributed. Currently, a votevalue of 5.3 million HP is still missing for the funding. The HBD are to be used exclusively for marketing and not for the development or further development of existing Leo dApps or new Leo dApps.
New Diesel Pool was born Part 1
We have once again discovered a new pool for you. It is the SWAP.HIVE:FLUX pool. While @bechibenner and @quekery are fighting over who is higher in the ranking in the SWAP.HIVE:SCRAP pool, @crypt0gnome from @terracore seems to have set up another promising Diesel Pool. (Editor's note: And he has withdrawn his witness vote from us. Anti-LOOL [Note to editor's note: The HiQ Smartbot tells us when you withdrawn your witness vote. LOOL])
Smart Bot Ink says: SWAP.HIVE:FLUX has a liquidity of 1661.49846792 SWAP.HIVE and 988.19521768 FLUX with 1216.72114041182328052713 shares. The base price is 0.59476143 and the quote price is 1.68134639.
The pool currently has an APR of 93% and also a long runtime. All we wish you is: Happy Fomo-Ink.
New Diesel Pool was born Part 2
While @bechibenner and @quekery were in an add-liquidity frenzy, @solymi noted that the SWAP.HIVE:DBLN pool was also worth a look. Though we dismissed this with, "There's only one true non-HiQ pool, you noob." But maybe @psyberX's pool is worth a look after all.
The current APR of over 55% is nothing to sneeze at. Which pools you end up in is, of course, up to you.
Astral Wars Tournament
The wheels are also turning at Astral Wars by @spiritsurge. The latest coup is a PVP tournament where you can win a card. To take part, you have to register on Discord by 04.08.2023.
Crypto Shots Tournament
Another Crypto Shots tournament will take place on 05.08.2023. If you still need a PVP pass to play Crypto Shots online, write "I have a kill!" in the comments.
Buzzparty
@tibfox has now cancelled the communities HiveUP Europe and Hive Meetups and created a brand new and better community - Buzzparty. Buzzparty is no longer limited to Europe but will cover all countries. Meetups will be called parties from now on. You can find out how to register or find a party in the Buzzparty announcement post. The Map Posts by @buzzparty are also very stylish. Here you can click through to all kinds of parties or use the Discord bot. All Buzzparty needs now is more publicity. So stop by and spread the word.
WOO on Tour
From 24.08. to 26.08.2023 the Rare Evo Web3 Conference will take place in Denver, Colorado. Hive will not only be represented by one person at this event either - besides @crimsonclad and @aggroed, Bookerman from WOO will also be present. (Editor's note: And we might also sneak some surreptitious publicity in the form of a HiQ/CraftInk flyer in Bookerman's pocket. LOOL) ★
➀➀ HIVESTYLE
Summer slump in the readers' letters? No matter, we won't cancel the readers' letters in any case. And as the saying goes: Better 5 reader letters than no reader letters.
@julescape the real volunteer:
Very interesting Hive project, I just found you now. Let me investigate further and dive deeper into the Hive.
Do it now.....
Did you do it?
EPIC
@nickydee a real Smarty:
Great editorial and superb layout as always. 👏🏻
Nicely done.
It took a wee bit of time to get to this point. We were always this good. But the design took a lot of time. But because we want to deliver the most stylishest magazine in the Hive cosmos we don't care. LOOL
@thatcryptodave lone stranger of Canada:
Always HiQuality shiznit! But I'd !LUV to see something happening in Eastern Ontario, #Canada... Ottawa anyone? Kingston? (Is this thing on? 😏) I'm half-teasing, but it would be nice. 🙌
HiveFest9? Hm? Mexico first. Then we may talk about Canada. But you could check out Rare Evo Web3 Conference in Colorado. Or you do your own Buzzparty in Canada.
@dynamicrypto smartcastink himself in an other dimension:
Burrrrp, nice start !PIMP, listening now and love the vibe.
@mypathtofire is thankfull:
Thanks for the great update.
Thanks for the great thanks for the great update. HiQuarters over and out! ★

Thanks also to the authors and content creators, which are @quekery, @smooms, @mary-me, @tengolotodo, @themyscira & @bechibenner.
Not to list, but still worth mentioning are of course all the little touches, ideas and tips from the community. Thanks for that! You guys are awesome!
