Interview with @incublus

Because we are the hottest, we naturally only surround ourselves with the hottest Hivians. Like in this interview. @incublus us didn't shy away from answering our diabolical list of questions.
HiQ: Hello, welcome to HiQ, thanks for joining us today!
@incublus: It's an honor to be here.
HiQ: Our pleasure! How long are you on and how did you find out about Hive?
@incublus: I have been at Hive for a year and a half. I joined last year in May on the recommendation of a friend.
HiQ: Did you know about crypto before?
@incublus: I had heard of crypto before I joined Hive. I knew about Bitcoin, but I didn't have any knowledge. Just random news I saw.
HiQ: And what do you like about Hive?
@incublus: My favorite thing about Hive is the freedom to write. People can write their ideas freely and there are niches for everyone. I can interact with people from all over the world and I can see all over the world thanks to Hive.
HiQ: Interesting! Are there any communities or topics you follow in particular?
@incublus: Of course! Hive Gaming is my favorite community. I spend the most time on Hive, followed by the Turkish community and Pinmapple. I also follow photography, movie and dev communities.
HiQ: Cool :) So, you are hosting a show on Ecency Discord... How did that happen?
@incublus: Such shows were previously held on the Ecency Discord server. As you know, there was an earthquake disaster in Turkey. After that, the activity in our community dropped a lot. Even only one or two people were writing. I talked to @melinda010100 and she suggested me to organize such a show. On March 24th, I organized the first show and I was very happy with the attention it received. Since then, I've been hosting my show every Friday at 6pm UTC. The next show will be live on Friday, December 1st at 6pm UTC.
HiQ: So you have consistently run the show for more than 6 months! Did you do it all by yourself, or are you part of a team? (Note from @felixxx: Condolences for the earthquake - I wasn't really prepared for that...)
@incublus: Yeah, I've been hosting the show for eight months. Sometimes my friends help me record the show. Other than that I do everything myself and I think I do a good job. 😄
HiQ: We can attest to that, the show is fun. Do you have any other projects on Hive, that a Hivestyler should be aware of?
@incublus: There's a Power Up Day I'm organizing for the Turkish people at Hive. I try to encourage people to Power Up. I guess I don't have any other project to share with others. 🙂
HiQ: According to our research, you have expressed interest in writing for our magazine(?) What would you like to write about?
@incublus: Yes, I'd like to be part of the Msagazine. I want to write in the game section because it is my area of interest and expertise.
HiQ: Exciting! Have you voted for HiQ Witness, yet? ( 😁 )
@incublus: Haha I wasn't expecting this question. I voted right now.
HiQ: Good! Last but not least: The question that everyone has to answer and could determine your fate; If you punch yourself and it hurts, are you strong or weak?
@incuböus: If it hurts when I punch myself, then my arms are strong, but the muscles where I punch are weak. 😉

Node issues are piling up - Is this the end of Hive Engine?

On a blockchain on which we have to live with Hive Engine as the second layer, the world is turned upside down. The problems are piling up. You can read what this means for us here.
For weeks there have been reports of Hive Engine RPC nodes being unreachable. But what is currently happening is even worse. According to the beeswap tool, all nodes are currently accessible, but many things are often not as they seem.
Even if most nodes are accessible, many of them lack a large number of functions. We particularly noticed this because many of our projects are supported by Hive Engine Tokens and rely on the very functions that are not working at the moment. We at Team HiQuarters may not be the only ones with this problem and so far there is no solution in sight.
Unfortunately, we do not have any further information about the problems. However, the HiQuarters projects “HiQVote” and “CraftInk” are currently affected. CraftInk in particular suffers from the lack of functions on the part of the HE RPC nodes. It is often not possible for the players to see their own team. The script that runs to run the seasons and battles often cannot read important data from the Hive Engine and therefore crashes. All we can do at the moment is wait and hope for improvement.
With the amount of failures that Hive Engine is currently experiencing, there is a growing belief that Hive Engine is steadily going downhill. The fact that one of the creators of Hive Engine is said to have completely withdrawn from the project does not alleviate this suspicion. Only the future will show us where the path will take us. ★
New Zealy Hive Marketing Campaign

The December edition of Hive's Zealy Marketing Campaign has just kicked off. In true HiQ fashion we sent one of our intrepid reporters off to explore, participate and report back to HiQuarters.
@tengolotodo was the designated reporter and he decided to go incognito by joining the campaign using his leo alt account @tengolotodo.leo. (Editor's note: that was hardly going incognito LOOL.) That seemed the right thing to do as afterall the campaign is being organised by the inleo.io guys.

Growing the Hive ecosystem
By completing tasks or quests on various web2 platforms, Hive gets much broader exposure. As has been demonstrated in previous Zealy marketing campaigns there is an uptake in the amount of Hive accounts that are created when Hive gets more exposure on web2 platforms.
The web2 platforms that will be used are primarily X (formerly Twitter) and we believe YouTube and possibly Instagram and Tik Tok, but don't quote us. LOOL

Once registration is complete, the header below should be visible meaning the Hive community has been successfully joined.

Each quest that is completed gives XP or Experience Points, the more that are completed the higher up the Leaderboard one goes.
It is a case of Points means prizes!

COFFEE-COIN
Because we love COFFEE so much, we want to remind you again of COFFEE's first sale. (Note from @quekery: Of course I'm drinking !COFFEE while I'm writing these lines. LOOL) This is scheduled to take place on December 1st and there will only be 1000 COFFEE available to buy at 0.5 SWAP.HIVE per COFFEE. If the HE Node issues don't throw a wrench in our plans, our FOMO is real. The thought of not being able to get enough COFFEE makes us very nervous. (Editor's note: And all without a CAFFEINE overdose. LOOL) So we need a plan. (Editer's note: It's just a shame that we're about to betray him and therefore perhaps ruin our chance to get COFFEE...) In order to use !COFFEE, you have to have at least 10 COFFEE, as we explained in the latest COFFEE Post made by @zottone444. So we place a buy order for 10 COFFEE before December 1st. Let's just hope we don't trigger a Werther effect here. HiQ and CraftInk on Tour
And while we're at December 1st. (Editor's note: No, it's not about Power-Up Day. Although we're just now remembering that December 1st is Power-Up Day. This issue HfH almost writes itself. LOOL ) On December 1st we are invited to two events. The first event is the @town-hall meeting, which takes place at 16:00 UTC and the 2nd event is a meeting of @incublus (Editor's note: What, you don't know @incublus? Do you have this edition? didn't read?) on the Ecency Discord at 18:00 UTC.
DACH Secret Santa 2023
This year there will be emphasis on Hive again. Yes, you heard right, weighted. @ynwa.andree called for Secret Santa this year, like last year. Anyone who wants to can take part. If you missed @ynwa.andree's post, you can find it here.
The Roof Secret Santa isn't about giving expensive gifts to others, but rather about thinking about each other on Hive during the Christmas season. You can also give a little joy to the person you were randomly assigned to. There are no limits to creativity.
Last year, the DACH Secret Santa was a complete success and many beautiful gifts were sent on their way. @ynwa.andree is hoping for many participants again this time who will enjoy sharing the joy of Christmas with others. New Oneup Frontend
The Oneup Cartel has given its front end a makeover. The idea behind the frontend is to hivelight various gaming communities on Hive. But this should only be the beginning of the new frontend from Oneup.
Advent Calendar
@miketr's advent calendar will be available again in December, but not as we know it for various reasons. Since @miketr is very time constrained, he has come up with a plan B, which he explains in his last Post. The rules of the game will follow in a separate report, which will then be made via the @lotto-de account. As always, you can only participate with the HLT token.
