We appreciate your posts and the following ones are randomly selected because of their botanical qualities. They are manually curated on behalf of the Amazing Nature Community.

First a brief explanation about Botany:

Botany is a broad term covering scientific study of plants. It could be from a small living organism to a tree. Included would be flora, fungi, lichens, trees and flowering plants.

We are also interested in plants for their psychological (good for the mind & soul) benefits.

Through botany, medicinal properties are discovered from nature. Food, medicines, parks, forests, pollution and much more have been improved with botanical knowledge. Botanists search for alternatives from the harmful chemicals used on crops and the deforestation that has damaged the health of our planet.

Now I would like to bring your attention to the curated posts and ask you to show some love to the amazing authors:

  • @eddwood visits the endangered Kauri trees in New Zealand. Visitors to the forest must disinfect their footwear before entering to keep bacteria and disease from being transferred from the outside world to the trees.

  • @antikus369 laments Autumn, for it’s passing will bring on the coldness of winter. She finds being in nature is healing and only needs to take steps towards the forest to help forget all the problems happening today in the world.

  • @katydvag finds a daisy on the side of the road. The flower showed her how impressive nature is, even though nobody takes care of it, it goes ahead and is beautiful.

  • Because there are only two seasons in Venezuela, rainy and summer, @arialvi75 takes advantage of the fruits of the season. She tells us about the Loquat tree which produces a sweet juicy fruit, in abundance, with many health benefits.
