The sands of time
By: @pardinus
Whenever I look at the photos of this location, it reminds me of a computer game called "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time"; why, I can't tell. Maybe it was the proximity of the desert, or the atmosphere of the cloudy day. What I do know, is that visiting this village was a great experience: meet Ait Ben Haddou. I visited this amazing place while on a desert tour during my Moroccan holidays

Wednesday Walk Drought showing at the pond
By: @tattoodjay
Wednesday Walk Drought showing at the pond This post if for Wednesday walk challenge Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;) The last couple of weeks when I was deciding what to share for the Wednesday Walk post I had bene out for many walks and had plenty to choose from, this week was the opposite I only got out for one walk in the last week or so so it was easy to choose which walk to focus on LOL I took a visit to Buttonwood Park one afternoon and took my big lens hoping there may be a nice selection of birds on the pond As this first photo shows the water level in the pond is very low, where I am standing taking this photo would normally be inthe pond, this area is goign through a drought, we have had very little rain and the pond level highlights that fact. Its also not good for the birds, the low water level and possibly murky water is not inviting to birds and there was only a few seagulls, geese, ducks and one heron that I saw. Often when I go out with my big 200 600 lens which is fairly heavy I only take that lens, but for some reason when I went out for this walk I also took one smaller lens my Tamron 28 75mm Lens so I could get a few shots showing how love the water level is such as this first one Sony A7iv 28mm F8 1/250 ISO 160 Looking across the pond there are still some tou

Let's attract the masses, but aren't riches in the niches?
By: @alex-rourke
In what seems like the eve of an inevitable face melting bull run, we hear (and read) about mass adoption of blockchain technology. Ah yes, that's hyper bitcoinization for any bitcoin maximalists out there. I often get asked if everybody's using bitcoin in El Salvador an Guatemala and the answer is a resounding... The dream of mass adoption of blockchain and Web3 technology has long been a talking point among enthusiasts, with visions of every "average Joe" seamlessly transacting in cryptocurrencies to buy pupusas, coffee and pay the bills, owning tokenized assets, and actively participating in decentralized governance

Preparing to Write
By: @cmplxty
Hi fellow Hiveians, Today I wanted to talk about how we try to plan for things, and one of my planning elements is writing! Preparing to Write Writing is definitely one of my more enjoyable tasks during a day. I tend to try and do more of it when I am looking down the road to an upcoming trip! We are taking a trip in a few weeks

The Second D&D Tarak Campaign - An Unexpected Offer
By: @alonicus
Welcome to the ongoing saga of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign I ran a little while back, using The Sunken Citadel module from the Tales From The Yawning Portal source book. In the last post, the party fought and won the final encounter in the Sunless Citadel, destroying the Gulthias Tree and slaying the mad druid Belak. I hope you enjoy my D&D campaign write ups, and the commentary I add to them. Questions, comments and feedback are welcome !

Baked Sailfish Loin in Vegetable Sauce & (homemade) Coconut Milk :P
By: @marlyncabrera
Hi, foodies in the Hive! Hope you're doing great 😃 Now that I'm lucky enough to have a very affordable fresh fish delivery service, it's much easier for me to eat more fish and less of other meats, which is great if you ask me. Among my purchases were two pieces of sailfish loin of 1 kg each. At first I thought I would slice it into fillets for breading, since I've been wanting to eat it that way for a while, but since I had coconuts to make milk, I decided to make a baked dish
