Good night, everyone. Today was quite a busy day because of my child's education program, so it was already evening by the time we got home. Naturally, I wanted to prepare something delicious for my child to enjoy with tea. I decided to make a sweet treat using semolina, and I'd like to share it with you all.
Coconut-mixed semolina sweets are popular in many homes and are a staple in market stalls. This recipe is especially great because it requires only a few ingredients, making it both healthy and easy to prepare. The nutty flavor of semolina combined with the rich sweetness of coconut creates a treat that's perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.
So, let's go through the steps to prepare this delightful dish.
Required Ingredients...
🍀 Semolina 100g.
🍀 1 cup of grated coconut
🍀 2/3 cup of sugar.
🍀 1 teaspoon of margarine.
🍀 Salt as needed.
Method of making.
1 Step.
First take a pot and put it on the stove and let it heat up. Then put the semolina in the heated pot and fry it for about 2 minutes.
2 Step.
Then put the scraped coconut in the same pot and fry it until the wateriness in it evaporates.
3 Step.
Next, take a pan and place it on the stove, heating it over a low flame. Add sugar to the pan and let it caramelize slowly. If necessary, you can add a little water to help the sugar dissolve and caramelize evenly.
4 Step.
Then add the roasted coconut to the sugar caramel and mix well. Add the fried semolina to it and mix it well.
5 Step.
Then add 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter to it and mix it well.
6 Step.
Meanwhile, take a plate and grease it with some margarine or coconut oil. Once the sweets mixture is ready, pour it onto the prepared plate. Spread and arrange it evenly as shown below.
Finally cut it into pieces.
Now the sweets are ready! After allowing them to cool, cut them into pieces and serve with a cup of hot tea. You can also prepare more to add to your snack collection. This is a simple recipe that you can easily make at home. Give it a try, and I'll meet you again with another new recipe.
Have A nice day.
Best Regards,
