This App Is So Annoying And Don't Need Your Invitation To Be There

Greetings to everyone in this community and beyond, it's been a while I came around this amazing community which is my top in the list, I have been up and down with lots of offline events which took so much from my time. Am happy to be participating in this week's prompt talking about apps in my phone.

Android and iOS phones come with lots of inbuilt apps so of which we are happy to see them and we fling into using them almost immediately and some of them are just there to frustrate someone's life just for nothing and they end up sapping out data.

Some days I will just wake up to find out that my phone just takes up lots of data especially on the days I have little funds for data. Most days I end up using over 4 gig a day and I get to wonder what I even used it for, that's to say I spend #800 most days for data, Kai, thats too much but I have not just come to discover how to reset my phone to reduce my data in take. But the annoying part is that it is these useless apps that go ahead to update themselves without seeking for my permission and I have not seen the app developers sending me any fund to sub my phone.

One app that I hate so much that always gets it self back to my phone is Phoenix browser. Kai, this app is so annoying and useless to me ranging from the nude pictures they flash on my screen to the fake news they spread around. Have you ever come across an app that forces itself on its users? That's phoenix browser. imagine they have made pornography so available to everyone. Imagine someone is just on his on and they flash their useless pictures, because of this I don't enjoy using my phone with my kids so they won't see things that will corrupt their minds because they are still little and don't need those random things.

Another major challenge from this app is that they spread false news so much to the point that many readers get to insult them. You don't need to spread false news to track more readers to your blog. Most times their caption don't even relate to the content they present which doesn't make sense at all. Overtime I don't even bother myself to click whatsoever they flash on my screen so I will not have to waste my precious time and data with them.

Left for me I will suggest that there should be a provision to permanently disable an app from someone's phone because there is not use to have an app that will torment someone life and bring discomfort at the long run. They are meant to serve me and not to inconvenience me and inject bad things into the minds of the upcoming generation.

My entry for the hive learners contest week #132 edition 1, thanks for coming around. Hope to see you in the subsequent edition.

I also don't like such applications which keep consuming your data in the background and keep sending you many advertisements in notifications again and again. Although there are many ways to stop notifications and reset background data, but according to me the app which is doing this is very annoying.

Seriously... please tell me how to do so please it's so annoying

DM me on discord
I will explain you there

Just drop it here please

Okay

Believe me, I also feel the same way as you do. This specific browser always comes with most Infinix and techno phones and since it is inbuilt it can't be uninstalled or else you root your device which is also risky. The most annoying thing about Phoenix browser is the rate at which notification pops up on my device anytime I switched on my data. I eventually found a way to disable it.

Kai, it's so terrible. Please how do I disable this app because I tried doing it this morning and I was told my Android apps won't function again....am sick and tired of this whole thing. Imagine just 2.5 gig data just within 3 hours...it's too much

It is a lie, don't mind them
your android phone will keep on functioning after you disable the app.

Just go to your phone settings and go to apps

Or long press on the app itself, settings option will pop up.
