 Posted In: Music | Bueno, debo comenzar diciendo que en esta ocasión no ganamos el Latin Grammy como en la edición de 2023, pero la emoción es más grande y un pedacito de este prestigioso premio que admiro y no me he perdido desde el año 2000 cuando Shakira interpretó Ojos Así en la primera edición ahora está a mi lado mientras redacto estas líneas. Para quienes no saben, no es solo la alegría de que mi institución musical y mi agrupación coral hayan sido nominados por segundo año consecutivo, sino que mi ahora esposa en su momento fue la Soprano solista de este álbum, y ahora ella es miembro de la academia y acabamos de recibir su medalla como solista hace un par de días. Well, I must begin by saying that this time we did not win the Latin Grammy as in the 2023 edition, but the emotion is greater and a little piece of this prestigious award that I admire and have not missed since 2000 when Shakira performed Ojos Así in the first edition is now by my side as I write these lines. For those who do not know, it is not only the joy that my musical institution and my choral group have been nominated for the second consecutive year, but my now wife at the time was the Soprano soloist of this album, and now she is a member of the academy and we just received her medal as a soloist a couple of days ago.
