Can you name all of the Scavenger cards in Splinterlands?
Any true scavenger is a collector, collecting items of value. In Splinterlands, some monsters have the ability to collect the remaining life fallen enemies reinforcing their own strength. In this way a scavenger is an asset to any line up.
There are 13 different scavengers within the Splinterlands. How many can you name?
This is a list compiled using Peakmonsters.com of all the available Scavengers you can collect for yourself.
Scavengers List
15. Mighty Dricken
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 4 | $940.00 | $9400.00 |
The rarest and most expensive. Yes you read the price correctly. The Mighty Dricken. Unless you are amongst the whales of the world, this is not a necessary or affordable option.
14. Doctor Blight
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 3 | $66.626 | $400.00 |
Doctor Blight is beginning to get to a more reasonable price in my opinion but 3rd level is just too much. A great card by all means, just too expensive. Other options on this list might just be better value.
13. Dark Ha'on
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 2 | $27.601 | $94.545 |
Another among the more expensive options on the list. Unfortunately I do not believe this to be worth the cost compared to other options. Too expensive overall.
12. Iza The Fanged
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | $2.20 | $2.20 |
At Bronze this card is rarely used. At higher levels this card works well but there are some positives in its favour. 500card power for $2.20 is pretty good value and there are times when its high speed and sneak ability come in handy. Worth the easy investment.
11. Feasting Seaweed
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 6 | $1.027 | $140.00 |
A superb card overall and the addition of scavenger is a welcome boost. Probably worth it but is it $70 better than Cave Slug?
10. Parasitic Growth
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 6 | $0.82 | $70.00 |
Better version of the cave slug at slightly less mana cost and improved speed. This ensures the Parasitic Growth can get out of the backline and deal some damage which is where the Cave slug can often be left standing. A good card but is it worth more than double the cost of the Cave Slug at Level 6?
9. Cave Slug
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 6 | $0.46 | $30.00 |
Good damage, opportuntiy and scavenger, turn this card into something quite useful in a melee focused battle. $30 for a 6th level is pretty decent too. Not sure there is a future improvement in value barring a bull market.
8. Gelatinous cube
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | $0.41 | $0.41 |
During my initial gameplay of Splinterlands, I enjoyed using this card. Unfortunately since the migration to the Wild & Modern split I don't utilise it any more. A good card but too expensive really for what it does in Bronze. Riftwing is a far better and cheaper option on the death side for example.
7. Screeching Vulture
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 6 | $0.289 | $13.00 |
At 6th level the Screeching Vulture develops Scavenger. Combined with its good speed of 4, flying and opportunity, this card becomes quite viable in the Wild leagues. Although, not sure I'd want to pay that much for 6th level.
6. Maggots
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 6 | $0.25 | $29.00 |
In Bronze this card is not particularly great but at 6th level this card transforms. Low mana cost with scavenger and opportunity turns this into a decent 3 mana option. Probably not the first card on my list but certainly capable enough.
5. Ant Miners
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | $0.186 | $0.186 |
Solid value here for a good card in blast rulesets for example. Good cheap cost and honestly a better version of the Vulguine. But at much higher BCX cost, perhaps not so much future value to be gained with regard to investment.
4. Antoid Platoon
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 6 | $0.064 | $6.40 |
I've come to highly rate this card. As a cheap version of Living Lava, it does an excellent job overall of remaining cost effective but also physically resistant. Avoid magic altogether where possible. I picked this up in gold recently for my battle accounts as I use it so much. Worth the value even at 6th level.
3. Riftwing
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | $0.051 | $0.051 |
For the cost, this is a superb value card. In some rulesets this card can be a nightmare to work through especially in Bronze. With flying this card is also a bit trickier to hit. Decent price, worth maxing out or getting a good bunch of levels of it early before prices increase.
=1. Vulguine
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | $0.018 | $0.018 |
One of the newest options on this list. Vulguine is within the current reward card pool so it is likely you will have some already. As before with other reward cards offered, the prices tend to increase over time. Whilst this won't become a Mighty Dricken, this is likely to increase somewhat in the long term. I have stacked a few and will keep hold of mine through rewards. But whilst this card does not add much to your firepower, if you can blast few a few enemies during the battle, you will end up with a 2 mana tank which is not bad at all!
=1. Venari Seedsmith
Level for Scavenger | BCX cost | Estimated Cost for Scavenger |
---|---|---|
Level 1 | $0.018 | $0.018 |
With scavenger available at the first level, the Seedsmith is a cheap investment to make especially as it is in the current reward pool. Like the above, its value is likely to increase somewhat (Can't really get much cheaper can it?) Whilst it is not the most powerful option available, under the correct ruleset, it can be a force to be reckoned with. So definitely worth the collection power.
