It's lovely to see the activity in the community picking up again. I forgot that it's the long vacation for schools in many countries, so there are some good activities for that popping up here.
First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:
• @leomarylm
• @mosupholstery
• @pepefashion
One of my favourite learning methods when my girls were young was building the curriculum areas around a topic that peaked their interest. This is what @leomarylm did with her girls when they found a dead butterfly and a grasshopper in the garden.
Some families have shared their creativeness with recycling materials, which is a fantastic way to get resources for learning activities on the cheap. @cirangela and her daughter made a cute cat accessory holder as a vacation activity.
Then @mili2801 brought us a step by step process on making a fine motor skills activity for her young girls from things that usually get thrown away.
While the main theme is plasticine for @taliakerch's son's creations, I see he's recycled some other materials on occasion as well. There are some great, creative ideas here.
Last week's homeschooling co-op that @apanamamama's family attended and she helped to teach and coordinate was on manners. I feel like this is such an important, especially when we seem to be moving away from treating one another with what used to be common courtesy. Different cultures may do things slightly differently, so when we are in other cultural situations it's a good idea to learn some basics about their customs and manners too.
Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @missdeli as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
