Flick's Barça achieves its first European victory of the season. Lewandowski, with a double, and Íñigo, scoring and assisting, led the culés. FC Barcelona, who arrived with the need to get their first victory, beat Young Boys 5-0 at the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic. 
Barcelona needed a resounding victory in the Champions League and Young Boys seemed the ideal opponent for it. This time, one plus one did add up to two in the Barça team, something that in recent years was difficult to happen in Europe.
Flick's team played well, commanded, had fun and scored goals (the overall goal average is important in this new format) to avoid possible ghosts after the accident on the first day against Monaco and the setback in the last League match against Osasuna.
It was not a duel to rotate and Flick brought out the best possible team. The only doubt was whether Pablo Torre was playing or Ferran Torres was playing.
