VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WK 20 - MEMORIES COVER

Hello there, it’s so good to have you stop by to see what I have prepared for this week! I’m always so happy when I’m at this stage of making a write up for vibes web3 music competition because it means I made it through, hehe. So this week is a special week and it’s week 20 and it happens to be one of the longest week we’ve had and that is due to the just concluded Hivefest. Too bad I wasn’t able to follow up with it this year but I know for sure that it must have been a fun filled event and also an eye opener as well.

So based on the reason for this extension, I thought that I needed to present something that relates to it in a way and the song that came to me at that moment was Memories By Maroon 5. This song was a very huge hit the year it was released because it is a song that almost anyone can relate with. Memories tells us of the connections we’ve had with people and the ones we’ve lost especially due to the death of a loved one. Over the years we’ve built a lot of meaningful relationships and in this same years we’ve as well lost some of them.

Sometimes when we engage in some activities we’ve done before with these people we’ve lost, it’s almost impossible for us not to recall the memories we’ve shared together. We tend to remember the good and the bad times and sometimes we even wish we can have the bad times again as long as we get to see them again. This song is a simple but complex song in between, I hope that as you listen to it you take out some time to appreciate those relationships you’ve built that are still very much alive and those ones you’ve lost.

I believe that the Hivefest has been one great place for so many Hivers to meet off Hive and they must have made a lot of memories that they will cherish for a really long time. I know how sad it must have been if one special person couldn’t make it for the event, doing some stuffs there would definitely trigger the memories of them! So even as we keep having more hivefests, I hope that we continue to make as much memories as possible because no one knows what’s coming.

A big shout out the Vibes organizers who also happens to be an active part of making #Hivefest2024 a reality. I pray God bless you all for the amazing work you are putting in to make vibes a place for as many musicians out there, personally I’m grateful and proud to be a member of this community and I hope to keep giving my best.
