NAVIGATING LIFE’S OBSTACLES

in #hive-16886911 days ago

The first step to solving a problem is to first acknowledging that there is a problem. Until this is done, it is almost impossible to solve such a problem because it only means that there is no problem there in the first place. Life in itself is full of so many adversities but then, we all have our different adversities setting in from time to time. Knowing this, it helps me understand that when something gets too hard for me, it means that time has come and all I have to do is know that I can’t do it alone.

For someone that believes in her creator, God, most times all I have to do is go to him, after all he created me so he definitely knows me better and he knows the best way for me to overcome whatever challenges I might be going through or will go through. The moment I have asked him for his guidance and his wisdom, I don’t stop there, I try to put some things in place just to give my helper something to work with. Most times, we get too religious and forget that we were given brains for a reason. If the one who has created us wants us to wait on him to do everything for us, I don’t think he would have bothered giving us such a coordinated central system, the brain.

When I face any adversity or when I see one coming, all I do is pray about it and trust that any decisions I take from that point onwards will be one that will help me overcome that situation. Also, another important thing I do is make use of human resources. For me, I’m so blessed to have a lot of people around me and in times of challenges and crisis, I try as much as I can to seek for guidance from those who I’m sure will recommend meaningful and helpful ideas to help me overcome that obstacle.

Most times, we are easily quick to think we can do everything alone (myself especially), forgetting that if that was possible then we would have been the only one living on earth. Having people around me is one of the natural blessings God has blessed me with and I always try to make good use of it. I do believe that, no matter what obstacles I may encounter, someone else have had similar problems and they were able to overcome it. So, I try my best to reach out, speak out and don’t just try to do it all by myself. So basically, I try to learn from the experiences of others while preparing myself for what is to come.

Lastly, finding the right motivation and keeping the right motivators. One mistake I make most times is that, I allow myself stay in any kind of space and over a long time, I suffer for it. The truth is, adversity will come, there will be pushbacks and hurdles, so, I always try to surround myself with things that will always want to keep me going. And besides the things that motivates me to keep going, I also try to have good support systems. Like I mentioned in the previous paragraph, people play vital roles in helping you stay motivated.

Having someone that always wants to see you do well in every thing you do, such a person sees a problem and always try to be of help as much as they can. Not just one person but then, you and I should have at least one person like that in our lives. Not that we can’t really do anything on our own, but then, having these supports around us just help us do more and better. It helps us just focus on solving the problem rather than focusing on the troubles.

@hopestylist hey! It's my first blog I read after a month long break. Thanks for everything you wrote! 💗
Everything was on point and straight forward with honesty and simplicity.

This brought a smile to my face. I’m glad you appreciate what I have written. It’s good to have you back. 🥰

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback.

The first part of this post is the most important thing; some people forget to point out there is a problem before trying to do whatever they want to solve it.

Identifying the problem would enable the solution to even come faster than expected.

That’s right dear. Thanks for your contribution. 🥰

Hello there, Hopey. This year has made me realize that you really cannot do things on your own. Well, it is possible, but, sharing your problems with people solves it faster. A problem shared is half solved.

I used to want to handle things on my own. You know, not bother anyone. But this year has opened my eyes. I have so many good people with whom I share my problems with.

I agree with you, nothing beats having someone that always wants to see you do well in every thing you do. Someone who doesn't judge, but tries to understand the situation.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Favey. ❤️

I’m glad you agree with me that it’s a lot better sharing your problems with someone or people because it just saves you the strength and time.

I guess, if we are yet to experience the importance of people around us, we will never know how helpful it is to have them.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful contribution, Evol. 🥰

Having someone that always wants to see you do well in every thing you do, such a person sees a problem and always try to be of help as much as they can.
