David was a foreman in the construction company for many years. He has oversee many projects from shopping malls, condominiums to other unique buildings. With his wealth of experience, nothing was too tough for him and every project will always be delivered on time. While he is such a great foreman, he has one shortfall, he never wear protective mufflers to protect his ears from the loud sounds in the construction site.
One day when he was at the construction supervising the latest project he was assigned to, he felt a sharp pain in his ears. He was rushed to the nearest clinic to be checked and to his dismay, the doctor informed him that his ear drums are badly inflamed and he will be experiencing temporal hearing loss. When asked if he puts on ear mufflers at work, he told the doctor he does not.
With a stern look, the doctor told David, "This hearing loss might be temporary, but if you are not gonna put on mufflers, you will lose your hearing permanently in no time."
