In view of the increase of workplace incidents and near misses happening at the work site, the site director initiated a month of workplace safety campaign to remind the workers on the importance of safety first and if at any point they fell unsafe, they should inform relevant stakeholders of the risk and not start work.
A series of talks from industry experts and also a dialogue with the site leaders and officials from government agencies were held to clarify doubts and to encourage workers to put safety as first priority.
Upon the completion of this month long worth of campaign where workers get to learn more about safety, a survey was conducted to gather feedback on the sensing on the ground about how they feel safety is after this campaign for the company.
After analyzing the result, further programs were tailored to ensure key safety messages are being etched into the minds of the workers and becoming 2nd nature. And this whole safety initiative will not stop here but continue on as workers continuously refresh their awareness of any new safety measures that the company roll out.
